Many people pick up this deck and play it a few times. They tout it's surprising resilience and win rate. This is currently my main deck. I'm no pro bt I think it has real potential. I'll walk you through it.

Card Choices:

Mana Leak: Most people run Remand in this slot. I prefer Mana Leak because,although it doesn't draw you a card, it permanently counters the spell (most of the time) I only run 4 total counterspells which is definitely odd for a blue deck. This isn't really a counter deck though, and I'm not really a counter spell player. But counter spells are available in blue so it's best to take advantage!

Ancestral Vision: I run this instead of Howling Mine. Howling mine can spiral out of control and draw your opponent a ton of cards if things don't go just right. Also, even if you play ancestral vision on turn 5 you can still draw three cards from it. Taking even one or two extra turns in a game is very influential.

It is painful for me to watch other people play this deck because they always do it wrong.
