Blood-Chin Fanatic is amazing with athreos constantly drain em over the top and make em pay or get it back haha plus the sacrifice can't be reacted to a it's the cost of the ability

I don't like Pacifism, it's 2 drop sorcery speed soft removal, why not swap for Ultimate Price it's a staple removal and hits most targets and you have radiant purge to deal with anything else, also I don't see Erebos being much use you constantly swinging and can keep it up with athreos why not swap him for some enchant hate like Erase, also I don't see the Duress really required your running 4 Thoughtseize maybe swap for more one drop creatures, Battle Brawler although not the most original name still a great card specially with all your white in there 3/2 first strike for 2? Also I see this a lot people don't like Mardu Shadowspear because he is a 1/1 but that really only means yes he can be blocked easier but with dash he works amazingly well with Bloodsoaked Champion and always one dmg guarantee which can be so usefull in some heavy blockers scenario, one final suggestion Mardu Strike Leader a warrior who makes more warriors by attacking and can be dashed in a lot of time removal magnet but really any strong card is, this card can win u games

I like Pacifism over killing the creature off because it sticks around as Devotion for Athreos. Its only for one, but that can make all of the difference. And Im a big fan of the Shadowspear, it just ended up on the chopping block after Dragons came out. Im puzzled to why cats don't like it as well, haha. - On the other hand, Im not big fan of the Strike Leader... now, if the tokens spawned out attacking WITH him (Like Brimaz) well that would make it my favorite card in Standard. But when they don't come out swinging - and Athreos cant bounce tokens, it makes it not worthwhile in this brew. Its not awful, just slightly not good enough. heh

Hey StormTripper,I love your deck. Helped to inspire what I run.
My recommendations:
- Mana Confluence instead of Temple of Silence.
- Valorous Stance great against anything with a toughness of 4, and indestructible.
I may have asked earlier, but how do you stop mono red?I sideboard 12 cards against it and went 2-1. Master of the Feast + Sorin, Solemn Visitor FTW.
I went 2-1 on my FMN last night with my B/W Warrior deck.
I'd love some feedback if you have a chance.

Love this deck. Made a couple small mods Utter End for Hero's Downfall and Sign in Blood for local meta. The deck puts most players on tilt after one game. +1 all day

The issue with Pacifism I'm not entirely sure it counts towards your devotion as it won't be on your field rather then the opponents, not sure how the rulings work with it, also compared to removal it can be destroyed with enchant hate or they can still use it's abilities and the strike leaders dash works so well with its ability cause once it leaves the field it's token stays as a blocker or if u decide to run Blood-Chin Fanatic u can sack easily :) and also all the pacifism I've seen are a two drop :S

You could definitely add some Utter Ends and Strike Leaders/Shadowspears. I was playtesting your deck and you seem to always get flooded with white - maybe add a few mana confluences. Also, a few Read the Bones would be great in this deck, as this is a beatdown deck and you kinda want to dump your hand out as early as possible (at least that is what I got from this deck). Even Sign in Blood would not be bad, especially with all of the life loss in this deck.

Merciless Executioner for Esper dragons, 5 color blue dragons, and whatever heroic deck may still be out there. He's a warrior. Use him in the side.

secure the wastes, 4 of them. it will be the best card in your deck, it has won me more games than i can count in my bw warriors deck, end of their turn cast it then next turn drop sorin or brutal hordechief, against control it is essential because you can cast it on their turn while they're tapped out and gain pseudo-haste

What theorganizedmoogle said. I've played against black/white warriors a lot and Secure the Wastes has been one of the biggest thorns in my side. If you opponent ever goes on the aggressive, you can surprise then with 5+ warriors at the end of their turn, then they work ridiculously well with the Brutal Hordechief or Chief of the Edge already in your deck.

How does Athreos perform for you? Going to run a similar deck this Friday, but I'm on the fence about him.

Many people have said this before me, but I thought I'd say it one more time. Blood-Chin Fanatic is a must-have for the Warrior deck. It gives it staying power that sets it apart from other aggressive decks in the meta, along with a 3/3 body for 3. As for the rest of the deck... I would just get rid of the devotion aspect of the deck. As much as I love Athreos, he is just taking up space better served by cards like Secure the Wastes.

athreos works so well with blood-chin fanatic not too mention that it gives a warrior deck the staying power and making people make tough decisions on whether to take dmg or take dmg from a swing

I have started brewing with Mardu. I used to run B/W like this but I was having a hard time with Aggro, so I added Battle Brawler then control started eating me up so now I am trying a different take with Mardu. Please critique. I have not built a SB yet.
