In preperation for JOU I've decided to make my B/W human deck ahead of time. This is all very up in the air at this point but I love the interaction of Xathrid Necromancer and Athreos, God of Passage. The deck is meant to be fast, get your humans up as well Athreos and you can play Cartel Aristocrat, killing all of your humans. This killing will regenerate your side with 2/2 black zombies (so as not to ruin your board state) and giving your opponent the terrible option of taking a lot of damage to keep those cards in the graveyard or giving me a chance to do it all again.

I think the one drops speak for themselves, they are all arguably the best one drops in standard right now and make for a quick game.

The two drops all seem to work really well here. Daring Skyjek is a 3/1 evasion beat stick. Pain Seer gives me amazing card advantage which is key in an aggro deck and Cartel Aristocrat is a key sac outlet in combination with both Xathrid Necromancer and Athreos, God of Passage.

Orzhov charm does major work in this deck. It can bounce my god or Xathrid back to my hand if a detention sphere or revoke existence comes down, threatening my game plan. It can remove pesky creatures if need be and it can bring back my one drops from the graveyard!
