This deck is a combination of a couple synergistic mechanics. It combines a black vampire tribal using sacrifice creature abilities with token generation, a small zombie tribal, and some Orzhov life gain.

The main focus of this deck is to put a few vampires out with sacrifice (Blood Bairne or Bloodthrone Vampire for example) then combine them with token generating cards such as Attended Knight, Sorin (Lord of Innistrad, and/or Solemn Visitor), or Ghoul Caller Ghiza for a continuous sac outlet. This combined with Athreos' ability makes the combo formidable as I also run things like Treasury Thrull which guarantees I have the creatures I need unless exiled.
