I also noticed a distinct lack of cards in hand after play testing a couple of times. I might recommend either Underworld Connections or Read the Bones or maybe both to help with card draw.

And I would make sure to have more Shadowborn Apostle than lands. You really need to have 6 by turn 3-4 to be competitive.

nope, the emblem deals with the mana produced by the land not the number of lands so Corrupt would not be affected

I like this deck. Good focus on the Apostles.

I would advise taking out the two Abhorrent Overlord s, though. Because your apostles have to be sacced to get one an Overlord on the field, the your devotion probably won't be very high. I would recommend just putting in a third Lord of the Void instead.

Also, be careful with Immortal Servitude . While it is a very good card in this deck, and can let you recover from board wipes, having four is just too many, because drawing multiples is very bad. I would advise two or three copies instead.

Besides that, just try to stay as close to 60 cards as you can. Having more than 60 will only hinder you.

But yeah, I love the deck! I'm happy that you decided to run with it :)

Just looking at the demons in standard. Thought you might want to see this.

Master of Cruelties you wouldn't need the red to cast it cause you are using Shadowborn Apostle

You'd have to play test to see if this would work, Since I don't really see any reason to have Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx , what about if you dropped that as well as x2 Read the Bones and added in x3 Blood Artist To further boost the strength of your Shadowborn Apostle I would try replacing 3-4 of them with Xathrid Necromancer dropping down to 29-28.

I plan on making a deck similar to this one, but I'm splashing red for Purphoros, God of the Forge to burn them to death when I cast Immortal Servitude as well as in case I had to hard cast Master of Cruelties or Sire Of Insanity . It's an easy splash that hardly hurts your mana base at all. I'm also throwing the idea around of some Shrieking Affliction in the sideboard as an alternate win con with Sire Of Insanity out. Anyway, I'm excited to lose with a list like this and maybe mise a few wins and piss off a few opponents in the process...

BTW, anyone who thinks that having more than 1 Immortal Servitude in hand is bad is straight up wrong. I will run 4 for sure. Once you get the Shadowborn Apostle s back, you can sac them again for another Demon and bring them back again. Especially if you have Purphoros, God of the Forge out...
