Mortlocke The build I had on here was woefully old, it hadn't been updated in a long time. But this is my current build, with a lot of inspiration from your The Song of Phyresis. I'd appreciate any suggestions or comments about it. And lol, I didn't realize I hadn't liked your other decks yet. Quickly rectified.

UltimateRoxas40, wow i'm flattered that you took inspiration from my own deck. Thank you for that. I personally subscribe to The Progress Engine's school of thought when it comes to deck building - especially when it comes to my own Atraxa deck. So looking at your list you have a lot of different themes. The primary seem to be +1/+1 counters and infect. I think you could lean a little more into that - including cards like:
-
The Ozolith: Fresh from ikoria, this card guarantees that if a creature is removed from play you will always gain value from it if you manage to put a +1/+1 counter on it.
-
Corpsejack Menace: I have a promo copy of this little guy, but decided to build in a different direction. Regardless, Corpsejack can help your boardstate get out of control very easily with those counters.
-
Forgotten Ancient: Another fun little card that can dramatically increase the number of +1/+1 counters on your creatures.
Now what would you be cutting? Well some of the less efficient cards I see are:
- Simic Ascendancy: This is a maybe cut from me as I've tried this card in my deck but I determined that it was just too mana intensive to use. The simic requirement for activation was just tough. Maybe this card has done better in your deck since +1/+1 counters are a primary theme.
- Lux Cannon: This is a maybe cut from me as well. This is a pet card of mine in the deck. I love it's flavor and overall style. Yes, it can be a mean and very scary deterrent/distraction on the board but it depends entirely on how you feel about it. I know I could probably find a more efficient card in the slot - but I like it.
- Reanimate: As cool as this card is, only being able to resurrect one creature isn't that great in the span of things. I swapped this out for a Yawgmoth's Will. Super expensive card, I know. But it's so insanely good.
- Consecrated Sphinx: For such a high CMC creature the pay off isn't quite that great in the context of your deck. Normally, Sphinx would be used in something like a Nekusar deck that runs a good amount of wheel effects like Windfall or Time Spiral.

Oh, and sorry to flood your page but you also inspired me to try out Phyrexian Reclamation - as I felt the deck needed some more recursion. So, thank you!

Since you're rocking Way Cooler Ezuri, you are able to Proliferate the Experience Counters he places on you when creatures of Power < 2 enter the battlefield. You probably already know that, but I figured i'd just bring it up.

ganchy I'm in love with Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant. I think I'll actually be slotting him in replacing the original Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, as the new one can double up our mana rocks, tutors, and a few creatures like Blightsteel Colossus, and he's easier to cast than the original one. I'll definitely be getting a copy of Tamiyo, Compleated Sage, but I don't think she fits super well into this deck. Her ultimate is pretty nice, but overall she doesn't do enough for this deck to slot in.

Yea, if only Tamiyo was a better fit. The flavour level would be off the charts

UltimateRoxas40 i'm always glad to see another Atraxa build as there is always something to learn from someone else's ideas. You have a great primer that goes into great detail, but perhaps a bit too much detail. Instead of discussing every individual card choice, maybe highlight them as combo pieces? For example:
[[Ezuri, Claw of Progress + Forgotten Ancient]]
I think it would read a bit better and really highlight card combinations. I see that your deck really leans into the +1/+1 counters, have you considered Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, Branching Evolution, or maybe even Doubling Season? The first two have great synergy with a good number of cards already in the deck - the aforementioned Ezuri, Forgotten Ancient, Simic Ascendancy, Sword of Truth and Justice, and Biophagus just to name a few. I only mention Doubling Season because you mentioned you want to dip into the Incubate mechanic via Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos. Not only will you get double the tokens, but you also get double the +1/+1 counters placed on said artifact tokens.

Mortlocke I appreciate the feedback on the Primer! I could probably do with a clean up with my all my primers, not just this one haha. I like explaining my card choices to any curious viewers, but I've also found that writing out a Primer and fleshing it out gives me a better understanding of my own deck. By forcing myself to write out a description of the card and its various functions in the deck, it forces me to think more critically about their presence in the deck, rather than 'Hey, I like this card!' haha.
Doubling Season is a perfect example of that. It synergizes well enough, but for its mana cost, I'd rather play something else in this deck that can take full advantage of the card. Branching Evolution would be a better fit currently, I just don't have one yet. Same with Ozolith, the Shattered Spire. If I end up adding Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos, I'll have to think more carefully about adding Doubling Season back in.
Thanks again for taking a look!

infect is my favorite. I have a mono green poison/infect proliferate deck.

Thanks for the upvote on my deck, figured it'd be the polite thing to return the favor. Oh, and uh shameless plug here but I'd appreciate it if you upvoted a third deck of mine The Queen's Egg. So, the first thing I noticed is that your deck could use a proper deck description. Please consider the following guide: Do you want to Write a Primer? by Epochalyptik. It's a great guide on writing up a primer to help visitors such as myself to get into your head space and better understand what your vision is for this deck. As a fellow Atraxa pilot I gotta say that you can't do our girl dirty here - write her up a good description so you can get more card suggestions/critiques that would be useful to you.
