Enchantment (1)

Instant (1)

Deck made for Spring 2014 Standard Pauper Challenge. Must contain only commons that are standard legal.

At first I was going to avoid using auras and focus on deathtouch creatures with lots of recursion with things like March of the Returned , but after looking at the card pool some more, I realized I wouldn't be able to fit enough enchantment hate to deal with all the Pacifism s and Aqueous Forms and still keep my deck focused enough to deal with another non-enchantment beatdown deck.

This new version adds a third color, white, to go with my plan B: Combine first strike with deathtouch and make a potentially limitless recursion engine with a heavy enchantment theme. If you can't beat 'em; join 'em!

Now while there is no one particular creature that has strong staying power or resilience, the point is to hopefully keep making 1-1 trades and keeping up the steam by reviving Auramancer s and Font of Return s, along with any other enchantment creatures.

The main line of defense, aside from the creatures themselves, relies on Pacifism and Armament of Nyx to stop aggressive attackers while the recursion sets up for and endless supply of creatures/enchantments. Luckily, unless all copies of Auramancer and Font of Return are destroyed, everythnig is expendable to stop early aggression.
