No you act of treason and then cloudshift. The creature does in fact become yours.

lol. I said i would consider switching the Arbor Elf out for Avacyn's Pilgrim. when I was playtesting I didnt get any of the forests, but that might just have been my luck. There was something else, but I can't for the life of me remember =(. I like the way the deck explodes though. .

I love the way this deck works out, +1 from me my friend!
A turn 2 Thundermaw Hellkite can just be straight up mean.
The only thing I see that could be a problem here is not having the optimum hand. While Sphinx's Revelation solves that problem, it is the only card in here that does so. Garruk, Primal Hunter is certainly a thought.
Check out my deck The Primadox Box and let me know what you think!

Her card states turn not phase so Wizards is saying when she exiles and returns its not the same card, I believe if the card causing the trigger was named aurelia war leader that should count but in actuality it dosnt so kill her all costs if you see this deck lol. Its so broke. If you dont mind I am wondering why and when you use nightbirds clutches and what you side out for it.

Side board is crap and needs work. I've been focusing on the mainboard over sideboard. If you have any suggestions pray tell.

Instead of nightbird and 2 of your pillars. How about x2 madcap skills x2 boros reckoner x2 harvest pyre and maybe 3x boros charm and 1x Rest in peace. So many reckoners out there he is a good side vs reckoner and harvest pyre only targets yours plus he goes great with your boros charms. I think you maybe a little heavy on hellkite with out double strike available to you mainboard but I see how he could double ping flyer with cloudshift if needed and thats a save there but even as mid rangey as you are I think 3x hellkites and 1 more good spell or smaller creature might be better. Curse of stalked prey would be excellent considering you are mid range and your multi attack ploy. Aureila is the only one not getting benifits really.

Thats weird that you can cloudshift Aurelia....it doesn't seem like it should work. However, hate fine by me. If you have something stating this action, shoot to me on my page. I'll look around too, because I want to put cloudshift back in simply because it's so good.

Lol. Thanks! I wanted to use it somewhere, and using it here! The deck just needs a little more fine tuning. The Planeswalker did wonders here.

@OFABass I know I've stated it here numerous times in this deck thread, and is general magic knowledge that when you exile and return something to the battlefield, it enters as a brand new object.
13th explanation:Aurelia (A) is castAurelia (A) attacks, triggers the untap and adds an additional combat phase. In combat phase 2, before attacks are declared, Cloudshift exiles Aurelia (A), it leaves the battlefield and re-enters as Aurelia (B) (as if being freshly cast)Aurelia (B) enters the battlefieldAurelia (B) attacks, triggers the untap and adds an additional combat phase*If there is another cloudshift, Aurelia would re-enter as a new object, Aurelia (C).
This is also true when you bust a Oblivion Ring or Detention Sphere off a permanent. When that card re-enters the battlefield, it is not the same object you originally cast.

Because its a new thing... where does the original one go?! It sounds like a conspiracy to me...
I want to know where the first Aurelia, the Warleader went! I had close bonds with her, and this replacement is just a clone! I'm not happy about that!!! XO
Is there some other dimension that they are lost in? Some kind of purgatory? Will they ever exist again?? Maybe i should ask J.J. Abrams about that.
March 22, 2013 1:55 p.m.
Like most women, she was pregnant and went batshit crazy. So like any good man, they found a replacement!
March 22, 2013 7:38 p.m.
Yeah, I understand exile and reentering...i just didnt think it would allow u to do more than one combat phase, that just opened up for a whole world of hurtin. Lol I use to do the fiend hunter cloudshift bs, and it was ughmazing. I'm gonna test it and see if it may work in mine...i just don't want to change anything. Heh..

i would replace the Arbor Elf with Avacyn's Pilgrim, because it adds consistency, and the arbor elf only has 8 targets.
Also if you act of treason something, it enters the battlefield under its owners control, which would be the player you stole the creature from. It doesn't let you permanently steal a creature, it would give you the beast from Thragtusk though.
