My Avatron EDH deck. The idea is pretty simple: ramp early and hard, carefully target threats with spot removal, get Avacyn out, protect/buff her with equipment, wipe the field if needed, and win.

A robust toolkit of both blanket and spot removal allows one to quietly, patiently police direct threats while steering toward an Avatron explosion. A variety of mana-rocks, mana-doublers, and land-accelerators help fuel the high resource demand of the deck, while ensuring that its fast enough to reasonably compete in one-on-one games. Ultimately the deck is pretty self-explanatory; if you've seen one White-Bigs-Voltron deck, you've seen them all.

The only real tip I can offer is that if at all possible, you should try to get both Leonin Abunas and Avacyn, Angel of Hope out at the same time and try as best as you can to protect them both with some hexproof or shroud equipment. Doing so makes it very difficult to clear your field, short of mass-exile or mass-bounce. Lapse of Certainty is an attempt to curtail those few Avacyn-killing options; it may only buy you a turn, but often that one turn is all you'll need.

Activating Emeria, The Sky Ruin is important in a long game, particularly if you're playing against aggro decks who might target you out before Avacyn hits the field, forcing you to block with creatures you'd otherwise like to keep around. Expedition Map and Weathered Wayfarer make it easier to fetch the lands you need, either grabbing the Sky Ruin itself, or Thawing Glaciers to help get the basics the Sky Ruin demands. Thawing Glaciers also has a nice synergy with Admonition Angel, allowing you to exile three targets every two turns, rather than just the usual two. Fetching Maze of Ith can also stop other tron decks, particularly if they're reliant on sword or enchantment strategies that neglect hexproof/shroud. The deck runs Snow-Covered Plains in an attempt to limit the group-hug effect of Extraplanar Lens.

One last, fun little trick has to do with Surestrike Trident and Blightsteel Colossus or a big enough creature equipped with Grafted Exoskeleton. Ranged infect, for the win! The Trident lets you squeak in some extra damage given the high acuity of vigilance creatures in the deck.
