Jokes and my love of 40k aside though welcome to my Avacyn EDH deck. This deck was something I wanted to do for a long time mostly because I really love Avacyn, Angel of Hope since she came out and because was the color I actually first came to play magic on before branching out to the other colors. I'd also be lying if I didn't say that I didn't just think the Angels in magic are pretty darn cool. I'm very pleased that I was able to make this and the amount of success I've been able to have with it and want to share it with other people to get tips on how I can make it better or some input on how people feel about the deck in general.

In EDH groups I've played with a lot of the people tend to shy away from a mono color commander with the exception of and or on the rare occasion a mono or simply because draw power or mana ramp are just that strong. So with a lot of confidence I say that with mono more so than any other color in magic you're gonna have a hard time trying to attain fast, cheap, and consistent draw power and mana ramp so you will likely be outpaced often and you will need artifacts to compensate that weakness. I'm quite literally admitting that you are at a slight disadvantage to most colors in EDH simply because a good hand for them is still often faster paced than a good hand for you.
I don't want to say full well that are abusing a gimmick but essentially yes that is what you are doing. The entirety of the deck revolves around Avacyn or more accurately her ability to make everything you own indestructible in conjunction with white's amazing capability to gain life, control/wipe the field and otherwise completely terminate lands; trust me when I say there are people who just flat out scoop after you nuke the 10+ lands they just spent the last 5 turns pumping onto the field and I have found very few things that make a player madder than destroying their stuff, especially their lands.

Your goals are simple ramp when you are able to do so, tutor for any cards that would help you given your current opponent or situation, spot remove and wipe the field if opponents are getting too far ahead, get out Avacyn as quickly as possible and proceed to nuke the field constantly.

As always I am open to suggestions or even for cards I may have missed that could find their way into this deck so feel free to leave suggestions or comments as this deck can be subject to change especially if new and better White or Artifact cards come out if you like the deck or even if you hate it still feel free to say something or if you're a kind enough soul give it a +1.

*Note: If I had a Moat I'd use it instead of Magus of the Moat they both achieve the same thing but there are far more ways to get rid of creatures in magic than an enchant...but Magus is way more bargain than Moat if you are trying to achieve the same kind of control for cheap. It also goes without saying but if I had the money or card The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale would be an auto include for this deck.
