Not sure if you still want suggestions against that Bruna deck but Nevermore is pretty sweet against any commander. Maze of Ith also works against attack-heavy decks. Another good card is Blinding Angel provided you can get her past Bruna.

I'm adding in Maze of Ith for sure. Nevermore and Runed Halo are on my list of shut down cards, gotta figure out what to cut for them. Blinding Angel is always a good recommend, even if I have it in the deck lol

Thanks Casey. I'm trying to get my hands on a Crucible of Worlds so the deck can survive when I Armageddon without Avacyn out (I've done it several times). Archangel of Thune I traded a while back and would love to have back in the deck.

Magus of the Disk and Magus of the Moat - I've tried both and without Avacyn out they were killed pretty quickly. I prefer the enchantment because my meta doesn't really have enchantment destruction. It's usually a Terastodon that will blow it up. As for Disk, I've tried it, I understand the combo behind it and Avacyn... I personally just never liked it. It felt like a waste of mana to cast it..

Thanks for your explanation, it's very useful since I'm trying to build this deck. Mine will be a bit different, to prevent too much hate from around the kitchen table. For example, I won't play a Armageddon (it will cause so much hate), but instead I will play Umezawa's Jitte (my play group is used to them)

In a deck like this, you might want Cavern of Souls. With so many angels, it can be helpful all throughout the match and it prevents your commander from getting Hindered or Spell Crumpled.

I have given it thought.. my reason for not having it in the deck is because it's too high costed for what it does. I'd rather rely on DoJ or WoG.

Everytime I look @ this deck, and your custom Avacyn, Angel of Hope I almost faint its to awesome D: +1 for an incredible mono-white deck cause fuck ye mono-white :D

I have an Avacyn EDH too as well. Thinking of puttin stuff like Angelic Chorus with Felidar Sovereign as another win con. Take a gander at mine!

Worn Powerstone Tbh I would take this out for either Kismet, Maze of Ith or Cavern of Souls simply because you can still do a turn 3 Avacyn, Angel of Hope without it, and a 3 cost for 2 mana+comes into play tapped IMO isnt worth it, plus adding Kismet is crazy control, and ontop of that if you have Ghostly Prison out literally its catastrophic :p but ramp is always good so it may not be worth it unless you do like Cavern of Souls or something

I guess I had a Cavern in my deck that I never listed. Updated the deck list to reflect what I actually have. Side board cards are cards I want/have.

How is 28 land working for you? I'd suggest Emeria, The Sky Ruin though. I run it in mine.

Emeria, The Sky Ruin def a good suggestion :O I use that in my deck, and it is good however, 7 plains is quite a bit but in those really long games it can work wonders :O
