jsansoldo something to think about that's for sure.
Eidolon of Blossoms is here because there is quite a bit of enchantment/creatures in here.
But if they clear out my yard i'm pretty shit outta luck for a Treasure Cruise , mind you that's why I have Stubborn Denial and Swan Song in here..
Something to test around with...
Something to play around with!

Er, not Swan Song . I forgot to put that in the SB..
....Actually, I need to make one. >.>

I dont think Sultai Ascendancy is very good with nyx weaver, and nyx weaver is better anyway. I would drop them and go to 4 Commune with the Gods . I would also drop the 2 Reaper of the Wilds and the 2 Eidolon of Blossoms for one more Whip of Erebos and 3 Hornet Queen . Whipping out a queen is awesome and gives you fliers to bestow nighthowler on to. Since your graveyard is a resource, card draw isnt quite as potent as it is for other decks.

Definitely something to ponder. Thanks man.

Was going to comment on having four of the same legendary creature (Sidisi, Brood Tyrant ), but then realized the error in my thinking.
You might want to consider Necromancer's Stockpile in case those mana dorks become irrelevant during the course of the game. You may not have a single Zombie, but Looting effects can really put you ahead.
Still seems like a fun deck to play with and against. +1

Ack. Forgot to mention Riptide Chimera . This guy, first and foremost, is an undercosted flyer. Plus, it allows you to re-cast some of those enchantment creatures that really aren't meant to attack, ie; Nyx Weaver and Eidolon of Blossoms .

I just junked the idea of Eidolon of Blossoms .
patsfan32189's comment makes alot of sense abusing Whip of Erebos with Hornet Queen

The deck looks much better now, the only other thing I could possibly recommend is getting Satyr Wayfinder in there. hes a pseudo mana dork that also will create a zombie thanks to sidisi whenever he is played and fuels your grave. I would say he could take the spot of sylvan caryatid possibly, Also Bloodsoaked Champion is an awesome card but I am not sure how I like him in this particular shell. A few Nemesis of Mortals may be worth looking in to.
September 30, 2014 6:53 p.m.
Hmmm, Nemesis of Mortals could replace the champion, depends on the matchup i guess.
and I think i might run Satyr Wayfinder in place of Commune with the Gods . Just because the count adds to Nighthowler , That was my initial though behind that but then I went with commune to search for things like Nighthowler and Nyx Weaver , Whip of Erebos
Some more things to ponder.

Hahaha, I was thinking Treasure Cruise .
But we'll see how it works out in playtesting =)

All the Hornet Queen , all the time. I went up to second place last FNM with a similar deck, largely thanks to whipped queens. Also, the soul is completely unnecessary. I'd do the swap. If you'd like to see my brew, it's here: Standard Sultai Dredge (2nd at FNM). I enjoyed this deck type soooo much. How did you do at FNM last week?

Im not a big fan of downfall in this spot. It feels clunky. How about one more Murderous Cut and 2 more Treasure Cruise ? I'd also consider Rakshasa Vizier as a one of somewhere.
October 6, 2014 9:45 a.m.
PreZchoICE1 Yeah I was thinking that but everyone seems to enjoy the hype it has and it is a pretty good spot remover.
I might keep it as a 1 of just in case of the other planeswalkers and keep some in the SB.
Rakshasa Vizier was something I initially considered but I wasn't running nearly enough delve, and now I will be. Good suggestion man.

probably the best thing about Bloodsoaked Champion is his raid trigger can be activated mid-combat. So as an example: precombat you sac champion to give butcher of the horde vigilance. go to attack step. declare butcher an attacker. once you have declared him as an attacker and passed priority, and your opponent has then declared to block or not block and passed priority back to you, you can then activate champions raid trigger, fetching him back from the yard, and sac him to the butcher again to give him lifelink. you then pass priority back and damage step proceeds as normal.
Please correct me if Im wrong about this but someone did this vs me at the PTQ and when I asked for a ruling the judge confirmed that it does in fact work that way.
October 9, 2014 4:13 p.m.
I guess i could see how that works, it just comes down to the raid trigger being at instant speed. Which it'd have to be for the judge to rule it that way.

Yep. I was salty about it.
Not because of the ruling, I mean it made sense but at a PTQ if theres even a slight doubt you gotta get it ruled, but because I had a butcher as well just didnt lucksac the Champion to go along with it.
lol. oh well. :)
