I like the deck man, although a few ingest creatures might help ulamogs reclaimed reclaim

Added Mist Intruder. Right now I'm trying to make sure the end-game of counter spells and exile spells can combine with spell return to create a complete lockdown loop.

Blessed Reincarnation is particularly efficient in increasing the amount of exiled creatures, while both defending, and letting me attack unblocked.

Since it is an instant, with rebound, I can use it on my opponent's turn, then recast on my upkeep for two exile swapped creatures, also letting me view their cards. Then I attack with Ulamog's Reclaimer using Mirror Mockery to reclaim Blessed Reincarnation.

The loop doesn't let me attack unblocked though. That's where Awaken and Landfall control comes in. To supply very low cost ways of letting my creatures attack. Slab Hammer and Sword of the Animist can both provide this, while Rush of Ice and Clutch of Currents can as well. This frees up my mana and my Blessed Reincarnation for my opponent's turn. Rogue's Passage is a fallback option incase I lack spells or need others. Might get removed for more land or a couple Mage-Ring Network based on performance.

Even with Halimar Tidecaller and Mirror Mockery, I can still combine with Retreat to Coralhelm and Skyline Cascade to attack unblocked while returning Clutch of Currents and Scatter to the Winds to deny their play.

The biggest threat is removal, both targeted and nontargeted and needs some efficient use of the right counterspell combination. Not sure if I have enough experience to figure it out though. Or maybe I'm too greedy and need to learn to play through?

Having trouble deciding between Spell Shrivel, Reality Shift, and Horribly Awry. Or if I should just cram all three in. Not sure if I can fit two of each though without wrecking the deck. Or if I need to add Negate?

I did in fact use some Negate, but they stayed in my hand unused. Glint would have been good to keep this time though, as I did have two initially. The +3 toughness alone would have made it worth it. Most of the time I did not have the mana either way though. I did get to use a Scatter to the Winds once though to both counter a Den Protector and make a winning land creature. But usually don't have the mana for that. Games don't typically run that long in my area unless facing another blue controller.

Updated with sideboard pairings. Did not get a chance to test it yet due to winning all my first games in each match. Will try and test the card pairings at next FNM.

How do you come to the idea that Elite Arcanist can exile 2 instants and play both of them simultaneously? I understand the part about copying his triggered ability of exiling the card(s), but it doesn't appear to be worded to produce that effect. Can you cite precedence?

Just Search Rules on site. Or ask it again. But you should be able to find my questions and answers given. Had Elite Arcanist and spell copying in question title I think.

So basically you exile a card twice. Then you have to pay for both each time in full but can choose if you want to cast either.
