Gods for fun??? It's pretty good had a few things i didnt like with it but had fun. You can check it out for ideas maybe. Also i would remove Godhead of Awe it only hurts you by turning all your gods into 1/1's. But that is a personal choice. Demigod of Revenge i would also remove since you cant use his other ability but he is still ok but there are better choices. If you want board wipes can really help you. Since most of your stuff is indestructible. Just my thoughts if i think of anything else i will post it.

Since you recommend to remove some demigods are there anything I can put in their place to ramp up devotion?

I like to demigods because they count as two types of devotion which is awesome, but I did have misgivings putting in Godhead of Awe and Demigod of Revenge. I just didn't know what else to put in their place.

You should already know by now: Coat of Arms :P

Also, Prismatic Omen is always a good card in 5 color decks.

Also, is this your first EDH deck? It's pretty nice, 5 color doesn't do too well in competitive for obvious reasons but the deck looks like it would work pretty well in local playgroups.

Thanks! This is indeed my first EDH deck, the reason for the five color deck is that when I started Magic a few months ago I wanted to collect all the Theros Gods and I just finished my collection, so I decided to do something with them!

Of course Coat of Arms! It's already in there! I had to get a bit creative with my Lords since Gods obviously don't have any.

Prismatic Omen is fantastic, thanks!

They're not gonna want to attack with Karona, so you'll probably need to force them to. Lust for War is my favorite way atm, you could also use Basandra, Battle Seraph or Bloodshed Fever. Any of these will make your commander and thus your deck stronger.

Now that I think about it. pumping god defense isn't particularly important to your deck. well, take it with a grain of salt

I'm a little confused, why did you want me to force the other players to attack with Karona, the False God?

I don't ever run five-color (as you can tell from my card misinterpretation and my lack of decks that I've built with those colors) but this deck could use some tutors (even if they're monocolor). Try Enlightened Tutor, you can pull any god with it.

In fact, try to fit a few more in from the tutor list. Tutors are VERY strong in EDH and you can't go wrong with three or four.

I've never run tutors before, but seeing that EDH runs 100 card deck I can see why they're useful. I'll find some to throw in.

May 4, 2015 8 p.m.

I've found Liliana Vess, Enlightened Tutor, and the Ring of Three Wishes.

I also have Heroes' Podium which is kinda sorta a tutor.

You should really run all 11 temples (Theros and False God) both for flavor and practicality. For flavor, I would add Kiora, the Crashing Wave as she's seen as an avatar of Thassa and Xenagos, the Reveler for obvious reasons.

Also, tri-lands are great!

May 4, 2015 11:27 p.m.

Great idea for flavor! I have Temple of the False God and Kiora, the Crashing Wave. I'll probably get Xenagos, the Reveler soon.

The temples will probably have to wait until they go out of standard and drop in price though. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'll probably cut the Dictates for the new Planeswalkers.

Land wise it seems good but adding both Reflecting Pool and Exotic Orchard.

For the deck the only suggestions I have are Captain Sisay as a legendary tutor and Akroma's Memorial.

May 7, 2015 9:56 a.m.

Thanks for the suggestions! Captain Sisay is going to be fantastic with Diabolic Tutor and Ring of Three Wishes, if I'm lucky I'll be bring out a ton of God or even some of the Artifacts!

May 7, 2015 10:09 a.m.

Since almost everything is already legendary, have you thought about Leyline of Singularity or Hall of Triumph?

May 7, 2015 10:18 a.m.

I actually didn't know about those cards, Leyline of Singularity will be fantastic with Heroes' Podium.

May 7, 2015 10:20 a.m.

Also more Devotion with Leyline of Singularity!

May 7, 2015 10:21 a.m.

Heroes Podium was the one I was thinking. Not the Hall. Sorry.

Also, Jokulhaups?

May 7, 2015 10:33 a.m.

I still threw Hall of Triumph in, I can always use more lords.

Maybe, I'll throw it on the Maybeboard. Probably useful when everything goes wrong :P

I might actually keep Leyline of Singularity out because I won't be able to produce very many tokens from cards like Secure the Wastes, Army of the Damned, and Decree of Justice.

May 7, 2015 10:42 a.m.

Also, Godsend on Karona is amazing because you still control Godsend's ability when your opponent has Karona.

May 7, 2015 10:45 a.m.

That's a good point, I never realized that. Throwing that in as well.

Another thing Captain Sisay can tutor! :D

May 7, 2015 10:51 a.m.

Also, more Devotion!
