There's nothing I like more than a good old-fashioned bear brawl. The goal is to create as many Ayula triggers as possible over the course of the game, making giant bears and punching down - first the board, then the opponents.

This deck is part of my project to create 32 EDH decks that encompass the colour wheel in all the colour combinations. My stipulation on top of that is every commander must be as cheap as possible - 1- and 2-colour commanders must cost 2 (where are all my one drop commanders, you cowards!), 3-colour commanders must cost 3, etc. Hybrid mana is OK but identity cheats like Alesha, Who Smiles at Death are not.

I found myself moving towards cheaper and cheaper curves in all my decks, so cheaper and cheaper commanders is the natural next step! The aesthetic of having 32 commanders all costing exactly their colour identity is simply too powerful for me to ignore.
