Azami is one hell of an interesting legend that I always admired and at long last I got a copy of her, making me want to build this deck.

At first I wasn't sure about what my winning conditions would be but with all the drawing power of the deck I think that a flashed in (through Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir) Laboratory Maniac is as good as any other. Lots of control is required though. I don't want to run out of draw power because someone cast an unchecked WoG or similar. This means that counterspells are quite important for the deck to be run smoothly. And as an answer to board threats I need boomerang effects too.

Taking extra turns helps me a lot, allowing me to tap my wizards again and again for more drawing, emptying my library. Same goes for selective drawing! That's why I'm running Parallel Thoughts and (although different) Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Jace and Maniac make a very fast winning condition. And its so falvorful!

Extra turns also work perfectly well to kill everyone at my own leisure. Just consider Time Warp + Archaeomancer + Tidespout Tyrant. As I cast Time Warp I return Archaeomancer to my hand, casting it again and recovering Time Warp from the graveyard. Rinse and repeat.

There's also Supreme Inquisitor to remove all my opponent's winning conditions from their decks!
