Gadwick's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Commander / EDH Infinite Combo Mono-Blue Tempo Wizards

Noire_Samhain

Maybeboard

Finally getting around to a /proper/ deck description. The deck? Tribal Mono-Blue Wizards. Card draw for days, baby. Arguably, any legendary Blue Wizard legend could play the general, but Gadwick has my favorite art. Formerly this was lead by Azami, though she still exists in the 99.

We have three secondary commanders- Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Naru Meha, Master Wizard, and Naban, Dean of Iteration. Wizards have plenty of useful ETBs to abuse through Naban, and we cast a lot of instants and sorceries to copy with Naru. Azami is Azami, a powerful card draw engine. Vedalken AEthermage is there to tutor for useful wizards, as by itself there's little value in body or other effects. Stonybrook Banneret is just dang useful in letting us play more wizards than normal, especially if we get it out early. And Voidmage Prodigy is just oldie but goody card, allowing us to sacrifice tokens from Docent of Perfection   or wizards who have done their job to counter spells.
Baral, Chief of Compliance draws us cards for countering stuff, which our deck can take advantage of. Plus, he makes our instants and sorceries cheaper. Barrin, Tolarian Archmage can form a value engine with blinking effects, allowing us to repeatedly draw cards by blinking him each endstep. Plus, he lets us replay valuable ETB effects. Nimble Obstructionist can let us counter on a body... specifically triggered and activated abilities. Many games can be won through activated or triggered abilities. Siren Stormtamer is just great for countering targeted removal... though if you're feeling petty you can sacrifice it to counter a spell targeting it. Which is pointless, but pettiness is always on the table. Venser, Shaper Savant, Harbinger of the Tides, and Merfolk Trickster are both good at slowing down the opponent, and all are even better at Flash speed with Vedalken Orrery or Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir. Fatespinner also slows everyone else down, forcing them to give up certain phases of their turn. Archaeomancer and Salvager of Secrets gets instants and sorceries back from the grave. Same with Snapcaster Mage, but he ends up exiling it afterwards. Trinket Mage searches out a couple 1 drop artifacts when needed, and Spellseeker can find our cantrips or one of our many counterspells. And finally, we have Thassa's Oracle and Laboratory Maniac, wincons on a body.
Basically, counter, redirect, dig through our deck, and lay low until we get out our wincons, most of which need Labman or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. The Dramatic Scepter combo (Isochron Scepter+Dramatic Reversal) + Sol Ring + a board of wizards while Azami is out means infinitely tapping out wizards until we Labman win. Alternatively, have a couple more mana rocks out and infinitely tap them with the Dramatic Scepter combo and cast a giant Stroke of Genius, Blue Sun's Zenith, or Gadwick to Labman win. Or, if you're feeling cheeky, Zenith the opponents for more cards than they can draw, by combining a mana heavy Blue Sun's Zenith with a newly summoned Naru Meha while Naban is on the field. Finally, Psychosis Crawler lets us ping folks as we draw cards, and with the Infinite untapping Wizard combo mentioned above, can just drain folks to death if we have enough cards.
