What is the Memory Adept for? Also I would take out the 2 essence scatter and 1 dissolve for 3 supreme verdicts. You don't necessarily need that many counters, Syncopate and Dissolve should be enough to stop them from casting the really important spells. Just knowing you're running counters is enough to make people play more safely, which you can't really afford to do against a control deck anyways. I assume frostburn is for devotion and a 1/4 body to block with, though I am not sure how important it will be to make Thassa a creature. You will rarely want to pump the frostburn for damage because having the untapped mana is scary as hell against a blue.

Yeah I was confused as to how I had the room for those essence scatters and that memory adept (he was an extra win con) I have 4 Supreme verdicts in this deck as it is now, just totally spaced on adding them because I assumed I already had.

And yeah the frostburn weirds are mostly blockers with the added benefit of devotion and being able to swing in the rare instance that it's a good idea

Memory Adept is not a win condition. He's used in mill decks to buy you time. Scrollthiefs are terrible. Are you looking for card drawing power?

Couldn't he mill someone out in like five turns? And is it their mana cost that makes them terrible? Because Yeah I kinda want some draw power. I was thinking about the bident but I don't feel like I have enough creatures to justify it. Although a combination of the bident's activated ability with aetherize sounds interesting
