This is the budget version of my previous Azorius Heroic deck. It's standard and pretty good for your average FNM. (THIS IS REAL BUDGET, NONE OF THAT 50 DOLLARS BULLSHIT)
Drawing Hand: At least 3 lands ( 2
Plains
and 1 other) or ( 2
Tranquil Cove
and 1 other); At least 2 protection spells, like protection from color or counter spells (
Gods Willing
is awesome); 1 enchantment (
Ordeal of Thassa
); and 1 low cost creature. That's the perfect hand.
Begin by bringing creatures as fast as possible, turn 2, but always have enough mana for early protections and counter spells. Then just trigger the hell out of that Heroic ability by using some awesome enchantments like Aqueous Form + Ordeal of Heliod + Ordeal of Thassa
Use
Defiant Strike
for some early buff and card drawing.
Use
Treasure Cruise
for when you're tottally out of cards. It's a great card, use it's Delve ability to pay less for it.
YOU DON'T WANT TO BE WITHOUT CARDS IN YOUR HAND FOR THIS DECK.
Just keep protecting and buffing your little dudes and you'll be fine. Use Unblockable
Aqueous Form
, Flying
Stratus Walk
and Indestructible
Ajani's Presence
for when they're stronger and kick your oponnent's ass!
And don't forget to use
Seeker of the Way
's Lifelink to get you some life;
Battlewise Hoplite
for some Scry; And
Fabled Hero
for some Double Strikes!
You'll be scrying, drawing, buffing and attacking your way to victory!
