@ wiske I have come to the conclusion that Gladecover Scout is not playable in this deck. It is not a good creature to have in hand anytime except for early game and it takes too many enchantments to make it a threat on the field. I feel that Elvish Mystic is a better choice as it lets me ramp into getting Boon Satyr , Witchstalker or Loxodon Smiter on turn two along with helping mana ramp for making Fleecemane Lion monstrous.

i just mentioned it because it was actually one of the biggest threats in the deck when i played against essentially this list at fnm this week small changes like Eidolon of Countless Battles . I can honestly say that if my sideboard wasn't geared to handle hexproof enchantments and tokens i would have been 2--0 but Ratchet Bomb Unravel the Aether slow the deck down enough to stabilize

@ wiske I understand, I really wanted Gladecover Scout to work because it is one of the few hexproof creatures in standard but I found more times often than not at least for me that Gladecover Scout was not quite as useful to me unless it was in the opening hand. I previously had Eidolon of Countless Battles in here as well but found after control or board wipes that EOCB couldn't really stand on it's own by itself.

you generally don't drop it as a creature you bestow it on a creature im just throwing ideas out anyways haha
February 25, 2014 1:22 a.m.
@ wiske I meant to imply bestowing when I was referring to EOCB but I really appreciate you giving feedback. I'm just hesitant because I got beat pretty bad the last time I tried EOCB and wound up getting annoyed that he would just turned into a 1/1 if the field got board wiped or if I had to bestow onto a non hexproof creature and it got killed with no other creatures on the field as opposed to Boon Satyr becoming a 4/2 after board wipe or control with fast mana ramp from Elvish Mystic .
February 25, 2014 1:36 a.m.
maybe some Rootborn Defenses side board for board wipes then?
February 25, 2014 1:52 a.m.
@wiske What would you suggest to replace in the sideboard for them? Wouldn't Mortal's Resolve be cheaper mana wise and more relevant since most of the time I would want to protect only one heavily enchanted creature?

You should switch the count on your Selesnya Charm and Advent of the Wurm
February 25, 2014 10:04 p.m.
well i was thinking synergy with advent of the wurm and really the only removal you are worried about come out on turn turn 3 Anger of the Gods or turn 4 Supreme Verdict so with your ramp if you can resolve a wurm on curve you can just blow someone out cuz if they kill you hexproof guy cool but then they have to stare down 10 damage next turn.
February 25, 2014 10:23 p.m.
isn't that just more of a reason to run 4 instead of 3?

I like this deck a lot, ran it against my deck, Pop a Solly. Made a quite good showing of itself, however it couldn't handle Soldier of the Pantheon very well, and it didn't have removal to get rid of anything I played. I'd recommend trying to put in at least a playset of removal in there, although for G/W I'm not sure if you have many options...

going back to master of waves, he has protection from red and therefore pit fight. I'v actually seen gladecover scout used in modern pro tour decks so don't say it's bad.

When I updated it cleared the comments section but keep them coming! I have been very appreciative of all the the comments/suggestions so far.

@cookiex Gladecover Scout is by no means a bad card but as you stated it might just not be the right one for this deck.
February 26, 2014 11:33 a.m.
@neutral I switched the count for Selesnya Charm and Advent of the Wurm , good suggestion. I was a little worried at first about it being a high drop but with the mana ramp from Elvish Mystic it is good to run four of advent.

How has the deck been running at this current state? It looks super solid.

@Pr37z31 So far I'm very happy with how it has been running. I'm consistently getting out Witchstalker , Loxodon Smiter or even Boon Satyr on turn two if need be with Elvish Mystic . After that I use Ajani and enchantments on my creatures and that usually closes out the game. All of this pertains to ideal situations of course but it still plays well to me in non ideal conditions as well. I'm glad you approve of the deck!

I am surprised that you don't run any Experiment One

lol This is looking more like Selesnya Beats w Etheral Armor instead of Voice of Resurgence. How's it ben working out?
February 26, 2014 2:43 p.m.
While I do like Experiment One I have found Elvish Mystic to be more consistent with getting my creatures out fast, extra help with mana and getting Fleecemane Lion to trigger faster. Experiment One is great with regeneration but I feel that Elvish Mystic can have multiple uses making it more playable.

@cookiex I like Time to Feed but I feel that Pit Fight is slightly better. Pit Fight is a great card for this deck though against problematic creatures like Master of Waves so thanks for the suggestion. I'm definitely going to sideboard that for those situations. Polukranos, World Eater is also good for that but I feel I would need more mana ramp than Elvish Mystic to make it effective.@Gharnef I think you may be right about Gods Willing . I had ran a full play set of it when this deck was mono white and it worked perfectly. I guess I just got to focused on preventing board wipes so I felt the indestructibility effect would be nice. Plus Gods Willing should work even better now in this deck to make all my creatures majority hex proof.
