-1 Plains , -2 Divine Deflection , -Jace, Memory Adept , -2 Dungeon Geists and-2 Isperia, Supreme Judge . here's my reasoning, divine deflection doesn't really do anything, jace is fairly weak, while he provides a wincon, is to weak and easily Dreadbore d, leaving you with a 5th turn wasted, Dungeon Geists is cool, but isn't worth it, as easily Pillar of Flame d, and if you draw cards from isperia, then your doing it wrong.

+4 Syncopate , and 3 creatures, maybe 2x Lyev Skyknight s and 1 Sublime Archangel and someone else, or maybe some cheaper creature, but i dont think that you should try exalted with so few creatures. instead i would try to get my hands on Geist of Saint Traft s, and go the delverless delver root, which has seemed fairly effective

i originally had Geist of Saint Traft in mind, but these cards are so difficult to trade for. i do agree that if i want to try the Exalted thing i need more creatures. right now i'm focusing on collecting the Sublime Archangel s which is a challenge. in the meantime i'll keep playtesting this idea and once i get the Angels i'll re-work the deck further. thanks for your suggestions.

Jace, Architect of Thought would be much better here than Jace, Memory Adept

yea i agree about the Jace thing. if i was able to get my hands on Jace, Architect of Thought he'd be right in there. Jace, Memory Adept is warming Tamiyo's or AoT's seat, though, so until I get one or the other, there he will stay.

Some things that may help speed up what you are trying to accomplish would be more cheap draw spells like Thought Scour and Think Twice . Personally I play a different type of control than this, I tend to not worry about creatures early game and then drop the bombs like Angel of Serenity . I feel like if you are going to run 10 creatures, Sublime Archangel is somewhat underwhelming in that type of setting because it will be difficult to use her to her full avail. And maybe up the count of Jace and Tamiyo to maybe 2 a piece since they are great at the mid point of the game to turn things around. Hope this helps to some extent! Feel free to check my current build, Esper control, for when gatecrash comes around. I could use some advice on that and it can give a compare contrast type thing between different control decks.

i think you may be right about Sublime Archangel , unfortunately. i'd still like a way to power up one creature if she's replaced, since i'd want to win very quickly once a big flier resolves. any suggestions on how i can do that?

Unfortunately white and blue don't offer too much in terms of power ups. The best I can say about that is try and protect your flier while it is out and then swing multiple times. The only way I can think of for power ups would be enchantments that might be offered in white
