This is my second try off creating a deck for post-rotation featuring the heroic-mechanism.

The first one can be found here:

This one takes into account that my local meta is aggro-heavy and has a focus on being more reliable, trading speed / aggressiveness.

Creatures:

Hero of Iroas - Bear with upsides, makes Ordeal of Thassa or Ordeal of Heliod cheap.

Battlewise Hoplite - Bear with upsides, scry makes my draws better, especially with Ordeal of Thassa around.

Fabled Hero - Wreck havoc once evasive due to Aqueous Form and alike ...

Favored Hoplite - Decent one-drop with nice heroic-ability.

Soldier of the Pantheon -Decent one-drop.

Aegis of the Gods sideboard - Against burn- and control-heavy decks.

Enchantments:

Ordeal of Thassa - Card advantage + Counters.

Ordeal of Heliod sideboard - Counters + Lifegain vs. aggressive decks / damage-race.

Aqueous Form - Scry and evasion to combo my other spells very well.

Battle Mastery - Foot to the pedal ...

Instants:

Ajani's Presence sideboard - To help against destruction-removal and in combat.

Aerial Formation - Evasion for obvious reasons.

Triton Tactics - To stop enemy aggro in it's tracks, while being able to tap my own guys for damage.

Gods Willing - Evasion, anti-removal and scry in one card. Useful under a whole lot of circumstances.

Negate sideboard - To deal with certain spells that demand an answer. ( Elspeth, Sun's Champion for one)

Deicide sideboard - Purphoros, God of the Forge and some others tend to hurt a lot, if left alone.
