Thanks for the input! I forgot to mention that my group of friends play with banned cards, partials, and friendly mulligans as house rules.
I only dropped it to 29 lands today, but have taken out 11 total within the past week. It's a risky business but has been working lately. If I were to play a tournament I'd drop the banneds, Chancellor of the Tagnle, and the Colossus of Akros for some more lands

Not sure if you've seen the banned list, or if you're running a French EDH deck, but Primeval Titan and Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary are banned. If you want to look at a azusa list that's been played, tested and, refined for the last 18 months, check out my Azusa, Seeking Advice.

My bad, didn't see the aforementioned comment on your playgroup. Lol. Also, if you're just gunna run that few of lands, my suggestion would be to play Omnath as your general. Azusa seems kinda pointless is your not running 35-50 lands. I run 39, which I've found to be balanced.

They are legal for a French style duel. Minus the Ancient Tomb for another forrest.

I've pondered Omnath, Locus of Mana a few times, but Azusa, Lost but Seeking's ability works well off of a fetch (Wooded Foothills) and Crucible of Worlds with anything landfall.
I plan to add a Zuran Orb, Grazing Gladehart, and try to work in a few more basics to help offset life paid from fetches and also Sylvan Library

13 cards have changed since my last comment.
Suggestions peeps?

I would try to invest in more lands to the deck. Azusa can be incredibly powerful if you can take advantage of all the extra lands she lets you play. At 29, though, 2 extra land drops seems irrelevant (unless you can reliably tutor for them every turn, which is difficult). If I were you, I'd drop some of those creatures like: colossus of akros, chancellor of the tangle, terra stomper, sylvan primordial (banned), primeval titan (banned, unfortunately), kalonian twingrove, rofellos (banned). Just replace those creatures with some more forests, maybe a maze of ith, high market, or whatever other nonbasics/basics you like, and this deck will be more of a powerhouse.
