Alright, so, here she is. The infallible Sydri and her multiple synergi engines coming to an LGS near you.

Do you ever want to make your opponents cry? Sigh in consigned defeat? Wither at the sight of a Rest in Peace? Scream upon the casting of an Isochron Scepter? Then I have a deck for you!

You're probably wondering "What makes your deck so special?" The real answer, it turns out the Magic hive-mind is extremely active at the Commander Spellbook. If you are unaware of what that is, check it out at the https://commanderspellbook.com/ or join their Discord server! The repository houses more than 3,800 combos and counting. I figured it was worth a shoutout, as a multitude of combos in this deck were found in their database.

But anyways, you're probably wondering why you should build this Sydri, Galvanic Genius deck over any other. In fact, you're probably not a fan of the $T4KS (The Four Thousand Dollar Solution, STAX) archetype as a whole. You likely detest it. But the darkness calls to you, my dear friends. It reaches out with deadly power unimaginable. So lets get into the details, my little wretches, and you, like your friends and playgroup are now mine...

The Plan

$T4KS is an archetype that revolves around slowing or locking out your opponents during a game until you develop a winnable condition.

To begin, my dark apostles, we will use various cards such as Winter Orb, Stasis, Leonin Arbiter, and Desolation, to name a few. We will prevent fetch lands from being cracked, we will name our opponent's commanders with Pithing Needle, and so many other, disgusting, wretched things.

To lean into this archetype, the destruction of lands is most beneficial. To avoid destroying our own mana-base, we will use various mana-producing artifacts like Arcane Signet and Basalt Monolith, but buyer beware, your artifacts will make you the target of many's jealousy and ire.

Next, we will establish many of the deck's combinations to arrange for a certain vicotry, and our opponent's overdue demise. Be it an Isochron Scepter imprinted with a Dramatic Reversal and a Codex Shredder in play, or a Heliod, the Sun Crowned and Walking Ballista. Perhaps you fancy an Isochron line with infinite mana, Sydri, Galvanic Genius, and Liquimetal Coating to remove all lands in play. Oh yes, the darkness is quite powerful, and there is so much to use to cause pain, mischief, and misery!

But lastly, you must be shouting "But sir! What about interaction!" Not to worry, my shadowy friend. We have plentiful protection for that. Your potent counter magic, and your Swiftfoot Boots will serve you well, my apprentice.
