BABES OF TARKIR PLAYSET PRIMER: ALESHA WHO SMILES AT DEATH

Alesha is a creepy clown who smiles when things die. Why? Because that's exactly what she wants... Alesha is a deck full of utility weenies that truly thrives when the graveyard is full. Be sure to stuff your yard full of the best with cards like Buried Alive, Faithless Looting and Tormenting voice... if it's a creature, you want it DEAD.

Ofcourse, that's only so you can put it into play tapped and attacking with Alesha... though the attacking part should hardly matter. In fact, if you've got Iroas, God of Victory then the attacking should be safe, if inconsequential... Alesha's teeny army isn't going to win with combat damage. Don't let the colors fool you - this deck is about playing table police and finally comboing out for the win. Alesha has about a bajillion ways to win out of nowhere, mostly from the graveyard....

Specifically - if you can get Revillark and Karmic Guide in the yard or hand you're in a position to do some crazy things. Together with a sac-outlet they create a number of crazy loops. For example: Faceless Butcher or Duplicant will exile every creature on the battlefield... or why not strip everyone's hand with Tidehollow Sculler? Maybe you'd rather just win outright with Murderous Redcap pinging everyone for infinite? Even better, add a Judith or a Blood Artist and the infinite damage is just a part of the sac/recursion loop!

Is there a big mean creature hitting you in the face? Grab Palisade Giant from the yard and poof! no more damage. Or just yank it with one of the many removal options like Fiend Hunter or Duplicant! This deck really plays control, more than anything ... that is, until you have your combo pieces. Cathar's Crusade, or Vizier of Remedies OR Anafenza Kin Tree Spirit OR Angel of Invention all make for infinite damage pieces with Murderous Redcap... or you could just throw down the old Stuffy Doll - Guilty Conscience combo... sure it's only one player at a time, but it's still mean as hell! Or, you could just take everyone's deck with Gonti Lord of Luxury... make infinite utility goblins with Siege Gang Commander or Sling-Gang Lieutenant.. there are options everywhere... the hardest part is trying to see and remember all the lines of play. This is undoubtedly the hardest deck to pilot. Don't panic! Plain old value works fine if you want to just get your sun titan down to keep bringing out the removal, that's good too! There's also a solid Sun Forger package of nasty instants & sorceries to do things the old fashioned way.

This is a CONTROL deck with combo win-cons...remember that and you'll be fine. Oh, and if you get "Buried Alive" in your hand... the answer just might be Master of Cruelties into the GY to swing at someone for a one hit kill... why not?
