But I admit, passing turn 4 with a Village Messenger  Flip, Lambholt Pacifist  Flip, Geier Reach Bandit  Flip flipped now with a Collected Company in hand..Then pulling just a single Breakneck Rider  Flip entering flipped..Generally just ends games, not even including the second hit creature.

AndyReveler: I still have the original deck list inside the description sitting in a deck with a different name someone else suggest (Bark at the Moon). So no matter what, deck is alive and honestly still have it in a deck box..I have a lot of wolves.

Also so many creatures now why Geier Reach Bandit  Flip? Why 4 Duskwatch Recruiter  Flip? Really doesn't seem that good because 75% of time someone is going to cast a spell are these cards ones I should trade out for removal? I'm sorry I don't mean to seem rude I just don't see why you would have those cards in your deck. But hey its highly likely I'm wrong there's probably something I'm not seeing I mean I get Duskwatch Recruiter  Flip because of the ability but why 4 of them?

Sure lemme explain mtmlsandman

Geier Reach Bandit  Flip is a key component for a turn 5 win, a puzzle piece if anything. Passing on turn 4, creating a Vildin-Pack Alpha  Flip and then Collected Company grants me any of wolves I hit, to auto flip if I so choose. If they remove it, that's fine, always more to find. What you honestly DO NOT want removed right away is Breakneck Rider  Flip. Once its flipped it gives all your creatures +1/+0 and trample...Which gives him being another key card..

Breakneck Rider  Flip being turned on after a turn 4 Collected Company and hitting any other creature with a flipped Geier Reach Bandit  Flip, creates a giant swing and generally for well over 20 and in many cases over 30 damage.

As for Duskwatch Recruiter  Flip: Its a great dig engine, even thought I have considered running it down to 3, most situations have needed him and most people tend to want to remove him over Geier Reach Bandit  Flip because of the Dig and because of the lowering cost wolves.

Plus I am trying to keep the ratio's intact, it could easily be argued that I should drop it down to 3 and run 1 more Breakneck Rider  Flip for slightly more consistent combo. However, cannot always rely on said combo.

As you stated, there is removal. Well the great thing about single target removal is we also have Silverfur Partisan, a free 2/2 wolf replacement is better than nothing..But WAIT THERES MORE! In many situations I have Collected Company'd into 2xSilverfur Partisan in response to a removal tactic.

The card advantage given from Sin Prodder and Tireless Tracker are better than they appear. In roughly every 8/10 I have gotten the Opp in kill range of 2-4 life points. Sin Prodder they have to choose between life, or me with more cards. Tireless Tracker is for them land heavy times as well, have considered upping to 3.

So in TLDR: Duskwatch Recruiter  Flip is too good not too, but can be lowered. Geier Reach Bandit  Flip is a key mini combo piece with Collected Company. Got some card advantage tricks that work out great against removal and late game.

If I wore glasses, I'd be doing that anime push-up glasses thing with a smirk. Appreciate it :)

I forgot to post my results for last FNM, but you should have seen the face of my last round when I pulled it off. People kept wondering why I was done in first 5-15min each round, table 1 soon found out why. The main deck in my meta i am noticing close or even losing too has been G/W tokens. But they NEED the tokens out ASAP for blockers. Should see how they look getting them to 1 turn 5 trampling over roughly 7 creatures.

Hey, have you ever considered playing more Tireless Tracker? They USUALLY are played by 4. This idea is to overwhelm your opponents with card advantage and wonderfully big TT, but it generally works more towards late-game, which the deck doesn't so well in, especially after cutting Voice of Zendikar. Maybe replacing Sin Prodder. I know it is a monster, but it is susceptible to removal especially since Silverfur doesn't proc on it to get a 2/2 replacement. Tireless Tracker is actually a slower, less consistent niche version of it. Just thinking...

Every new iteration of this deck just seems more powerful and awesome. I really do love the Coco addition. Until we get that Moonmist reprint in Eldrich Moon (crosses fingers) being able to play werewolves instant speed for flips with Vildin-Pack Alpha  Flip is awesome. However, for those of us without access to CoCo (traded my only one when it was still $4 T_T), how might you restructure this deck. Obviously, without CoCo the deck changes considerably, so would you return to one of your older builds, run a bunch of Evolutionary Leaps, etc.? Again, great deck!

without CoCo you want to run Pack Guardian, it's literally the only thing simular

WerewolvesLover: I have considered upping Tireless Tracker, just needs more testing.

Hi_diddly_ho_neighbor: I agree with AndyReveler, try out Pack Guardian. You can run the orginal listing of this deck and replace the planeswalkers with Pack Guardian. Bark at The Moon (Orig Preying Baby deck) is the deck before it became this CoCo monster, this version is also the version that I won Game Day with because of Neglected Heirloom  Flip tricks.

Is this version really better than the Nissa, Voice of Zendikar one with 3 sin prodder? (both with coco)

BlueEyes says... #14

Sin prodder to early in a game can put you at a downfall. Nissa can hit that fourth missing land and nissa voice is great for pumps. both work great

I'm not a fan of offshore combos. if its not built around it, it will fail a majority if the time.

I like coming back to this and seeing some of the same changes I've already made.

Nice deck man, i saw how you said you were gonna possibly change up the mainboard and if you do, obviously like you said its not a wolf deck without partisan, maybe try out lead by example. Its a 2 drop instant, Support 2. So target 2 wolves put +1/+1 counters on 2 wolves and get 2 tokens, why not? Its improved my deck. Im running many of the same cards that you run.

BlueEyes says... #19

jacobfragoza4: I am not sure if Lead by Example counts as a target spell. Not too big on the support mechanic rules (so I could be wrong), but support is an ability from the card..So would it count as being targeted by an instant/sorcery on Silverfur Partisan?

If I could get some confirmation from someone that'd be great.

Tagging clayperce, Argeaux if they have any idea.

kamerask says... #20

BlueEyes Lead by Example is the same as the mode on Dromoka's Command. It says put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. Support X means: Put a +1/+1 counter on up to X target creatures. So because it targets and is an Instant spell it should trigger Silverfur Partisan twice (if you have two targets).

BlueEyes says... #21

kamerask: Alright, so they basically gave the action a name. Thanks, because I was comparing it to Reap What Is Sown since it says target up to three creatures, blah blah. Thanks a lot for the confirmation kamerask!

It is also possible I am overthinking it...Just got back from a 18 hour drive.

BlueEyes,
What kamerask said :-)
I would only add (not for this deck of course, but if it ever comes up elsewhere), that you can use Lead by Example with the Silverfur Partisan + Zada, Hedron Grinder combo too. The only difference is it can only target Zada, so Zada and other Creatures can only get one +1/+1 counter.

May 13, 2016 3:30 a.m.

BlueEyes says... #24

clayperce: Would be entertaining, even without Zada, a permanent counter on two targets can help against late game Languish or early game with Lambholt Pacifist  Flip lol (personally still prefer Neglected Heirloom  Flip very happy I put it back into the CoCo version. Very fun having 5/5 menace Village Messenger  Flip flipped again)
