Hey Penga thanks for commenting on my deck and I appreciate the feedback. It's actually funny that you took a look at mine since I used your deck as the baseline! I'm still trying to find the right shell for tainted remedy/ beacon so I'll be interested to see what the top brewers come up with.

have you thought of splashing red for Rain of Gore to make the combo more reliable?

Rain of Gore only causes a spells controller to lose life if it would gain them life. In other words, I can't target my opponent with a life gain spell to pain them. They have to cast the lifegain spell themselves to take damage. It would also hurt me if I decided I needed to gain life quick, and cast say,Congregate on myself. I want this deck to be a pillowfort where I have the tools to prevent damage and heal while I find Tainted Remedy. At that point I can start to tick down my opponent's life total with the same spells that where keeping me alive.

That's legacy. Also you should run some tutors. Sidisi, Undead Vizier is good.

Personally I prefer Dark Petition to Sidisi as I can tutor up Tainted Remedy and immediately play it turn 5 (Assuming You have Spell Mastery Triggered). Dimir Machinations can tutor most of my deck with transmute turn 3. As strong a body as Sidisi has, I'm mainly trying to hold off my opponent until I can Beacon of Immortality their face or just shave them down with Rest for the Weary.

Maybe I could sideboard it in place of Erase, but to also sideboard the green mana seems a bit gutsy for me.

Devour Flesh and Healing Salve could be nice in the sideboard. Fiery Justice is a LOL idea but not a possible inclusion. Trigon of Mending is a nice mana sink. +1!

I originally had Devour Flesh in the Main Board however took it out because it wasn't very effective in a lot of match-ups, however I like your idea to put in on side board, Javaz. I'm also interested in Trigon of Mending. I've never seen it before, but it seems to carry a lot of whittling potential which works well in the pillowfort style I've built this deck in. Thanks for all the help!

I don't believe the Beacon will work as it does't say "Target player gains life equal to his life total," just that they double it. And without the key word of "gain" I'm not sure you want to be targeting anyone else with that...

Should I be surprised no one suggested Last Breath? You get to exile a small creature card (pretty sure theres small ones like Snapcaster Mage, Birds of Paradise, almost any creature in white weenies, goblins, elves, etc.) And they take 4 life, which can be really good I assume.
Also, nice idea putting in Alms Beast. That's just hilarious XD
