Is it bad cards or a bad strategy that make up this deck? I really can't say but you clicked on it. The general idea(s) behind this deck revolve around using Slobad, Iron Goblin to make a ton of mana. That mana gets used to cast artifacts (obviously) that will hopefully win the game.

Magical xmas land time: Here is what I see as the potential top line for this deck. T1 fetchland into Raugrin Triome. T2 fetch/shock into overgrown tomb and cast Scion of Draco. T3 Play arena of glory and exert it for a Slobad, Iron Golem and then use that golem to sac Scion of Draco for 12 mana. What you use that mana on will depend on the matchup but for general purposes Combustible Gearhulk would be a reasonable play, refilling your hand or possibly winning the game right there. You could also just start destroying your opponents board with Spine of Ish Sah with that mana instead. The recurring potential of slobad + spine of ish-sah is where this deck got started.

Magical xmas land aside, the deck does try to maintain some semblance of creature control with planeswalkers and slow other decks down with trinishphere until it can reach the late game where it hopes to wrestle complete control away from the opponent with none other than Mindslaver, which can wreck some decks potentially.

To really try and abuse Mindslaver I've included the combination of Scrap Trawler and Myr Retriever as a way to recur Mindslaver through sacrificing other permanents. Ideal scenario, (scrap trawler in play) sacrifice spine to slobad, and use the scrap's trigger to return Mindslaver to hand. You probably get the gist of where I'm going with this.

The only other thing I want to discuss for now would be the sideboard and it is mainly just thrown together for now with the idea of providing disruption against decks that will be commonly faster than this deck. I highly recommend tweaking this to your expected meta. I hope you enjoy this abomination of a deck.
