Ever since Shadowborn Apostle was spoiled I had wanted to make an EDH deck around it, through all my research I found that the best way to run it was through a combo deck. The combo consists of getting infinite mana, infinite tutors, infinite sacs, and either infinite mill/life loss/gain.

The Combo: You have Phyrexian Altar out, either Xathrid Necromancer or Rotlung Reanimator, Conspiracy naming either Humans or Clerics (depends on if you have rotlung reanimator out or Xathrid Necromancer), and a creature to sac. So pretty much, you sac a creature other than the Xathrid Necromancer/Rotlund Reanimator and you get a 2/2 token which is now a human/cleric to which you can sac for mana from phyrexian altar and do that infinitely many times for infinite mana.

Uses for Infinite mana: Infinite reanimation with balthor, infinite tutors with rune-scarred demon (using the balthor tactic), and infinite milling with the help of the infinite sacs and an extractor demon.

Overall the deck has been working surprisingly very well dispite it being such a janky combo deck. It has already won multiple big EDH games, however people do not like it too much because its a combo deck in EDH and not many people like playing against combo decks.
