I've been using Grim Lavamancer over swiftspear to some success. nothing feels better than exiling the lands in your grave before warping. Also does work against affinity and Jund.

Definitely an interesting idea asdf9660asdf. I'll be testing it out for sure

your list looks a lot more aggressive than mine. I run 4 snaps, and a singleton Send to Sleep. I think send to sleep is really strong in the format right now, specifically against abzan. Have you considered Disrupting Shoal? in a deck where you you can reliably refill your grip, exiling an extra card doesn't matter nearly as much as it used to.
let me know what you think, I wanna hear what you have to say about this deck!

Went with Cyclonic Rift over Lava Spike as returning stuff to hand is almost as good as exiling it for this deck since it plans to give people new hands anyway. Being potentially able to overload at opponent's end step before Day's Undoing gives the deck much better late game reach.

seems far to mana intensive. What are you doing that makes the game last so long? I agree with dropping lavaspike,I've found that the deck needs more instant speed interaction. Have you tried any of the cards I've suggested?

Rift is still good even apart from the potential to overload it. However being potentially able to overload and the fact that it is less colour restrictive bring it above Boomerang
Disrupting Shoal isn't very good when I only run 8 blue cards that don't have CMC 1.
Send to Sleep is interesting but I needed ways to deal with non-creatures more than creatures.

Since you have a fast creature build up, I would suggest maybe running a couple copies of burn at the stake. It may be pointless though considering all of your bounce back options. I could see it being useful in mid game though when things are at a bit of a standstill. It can end a game very quickly due to young pyromancers tokens.

Day's Undoing honestly is a great card, but in a format like modern where affinity and burn are things its probably not a good card to have mainboard, as in those matchups the card essentially says 'cast thsi to lose the game next turn'

I highly dissagree with moving days to side. I took a similar list to a FNM and won every time I casted days. A popular sollution to the bad days matchup is to run Forked Bolt in the side, replacing days with the bolt against affinity, burn, tokens, etc.

I think you are right asdf9660asdf. At the very least the deck is much less fun without Day's Undoing. I am going to try the deck oujt with Magma Jet instead of Forked Bolt though since the instant speed is very important to be able to finish the opponent off after firing off Day's Undoing, plus I like the deck filtering and it can practically guarantee a delver flip.

Disrupting Shoal is a fantastic card for Undoing decks. The effect (ie. Force of Will) is well worth spending two cards anyway, and it helps you empty your hand quickly for added Day's Undoing value!

I highly suggest you check out my list, I took it to an fnm and went 2-1. got third because of tiebreaks but only lost to fish who took first.

Unfortunately asdf9660asdf I don't have snapcasters so I don't have the option of going with the more defensive plan you have.
The results of this deck seem to vary very muchw ith the meta since some dekcs love Day's Undoing and some hate it. I went 3-0 against a Jund/Grixis heavy meta and then 2-2 against one that had a lot of Tron and Merfolk.
4 Day's Undoing is a bit much so I decided to sneak in a Sword of War and Peace for the hilarious potential upside when you are refilling your opponent's hand.
