EDIT: Thanks to Lye, I removed the Ghostway. I think I was blinded by the promise and failed to see the obvious. Due to the reliance on cloning I have brought in Cloudshift. This makes the deck far more defensive, as it can be a counter in a pinch, but lacks the Oomph of multple ETB triggers. (Additionally Cloudshift and alternatives cannot be used on Phantasmal Image.) I think Ghostly Flicker is a bit overcosted for the deck, but would consider 2 Momentary Blink. I may swap out the
Ondu Cleric
for more straight mill spells. I am on the fence about possibly including Venser, the Sojourner, 5 is a lot of mana to justify.
The premise here is simple, a mill deck that exploits
Halimar Excavator
, Clone effects and Ghostway as a kill.
All the creatures are designed to trigger the excavators, the Hada Freeblades and
Ondu Cleric
s serve as a way to stall out opponents, while the Jwari Shapeshifters and Phantasmal Images act as copies 5-12 of the excavator, assuming I can get even a single one onto the field.
Archive Trap

Ghost Quarter
is there to speed things along, I will probably not need to use the quarter too often given all the sac lands abound though. Mana Leak is there to protect my excavators, while the Ghostway both protects and can finish off a player. Path to Exile disrupts creature decks and enables Archive Trap. Visions of Beyond is a powerhouse draw spell in mill.
I am most worried about my ability to find and protect the excavators, and for that reason I am considering the addition of Spell Pierce or another counter or some sort. 4
Steel Sabotage
are on the side in case I see a Torpor Orb, which basically shuts the deck off. I would appreciate help on anything to help me get the Excavators out sooner.
