Sideboard

The first of several control-based archetypes to emerge in testing is Bant Control.

Using bounce spells and Feeling of Dread to control the early game, a single Jace or Tamiyo will start to build momentum into your Thragtusks and Angels to lock down the board and start beating in.

Terminus is the most effective sweeper against public enemy #1, Zombies.

Tap-out control seems to be the most viable option going into the new Standard, with a cycle of un-counterable cards and Cavern of Souls making permission a sad affair. Dissipates are in the sideboard for control mirrors, however, as well as a Sphinx's Revelation to keep you ahead.

If UWx control is a thing this season, be sure to look for Oblivion Rings to move into the sideboard, as Detention Sphere can't hit other Detention Spheres!!

If your aggro match-ups still need work, you may want to consider Centaur Healer or an extra Thragtusk...
