This is a Bant Control Deck I will be running for the remainder of standard and rotation. Once M14 is standard legal, I will be including Scavenging Ooze in the build as opposed to the Augurs in order to battle aggro better. For now, the sideboard is for how I meta against the people at home, not on a national level, the "maybeboard" section is how I'd meta in a competitive REL tournament. This deck is pretty self explanatory, amass an impressive board presence, cast a large sphinx's revelation and "out value" your opponent.

These are my observations with this deck in certain archetype matchups.

Jund- The matchup here is about even on game 1. Resolving Sphinx's Revelation to fish for AEtherling, or X card generally makes it to where you'll gain the advantage. Once AEtherling is resolved, it's all a race from there, making sure that AEtherling lives and gets in damage. Game 2-3 is a slightly different story. In some Jund decks, Slaughter Games has been boarded out for other "catch all" cards. This is good for this deck. If Slaughter Games is boarded in and nabs AEtherling, then it's mostly a Thragtusk war. That is why Progenitor Mimic is good out of the sideboard. It's a good trump card when your main trump card is taken away. Renounce the Guilds is also good to catch their Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip or Olivia Voldaren After board, Jund has the favorable matchup. *The decklist I base my Jund deck on and play against can be found here. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/my-ex-wife/

R/G Aggro

Game 1: Game 1 is a toss up, dependent on opening hands. Any deck is susceptible to multiple Burning-Tree Emissary When Supreme Verdict comes online and Thragtusk begins to come into play, control of the game can be achieved. Game 2 & 3: After board, the matchup becomes more favorable for Bant. Voice of Resurgence and Unflinching Couragefoil makes the games much easier. Despite being susceptible to Burning-Tree Emissary Hellrider Ghor-Clan Rampager, the life-gain makes it more of a match with the control elements.

Junk Reanimator Rest in Peace 'nuff said. The existence of Scavenging Ooze decimates this deck

Game 1: DON'T MILL YOURSELF!

With all the card draw in this deck Urban Evolution Azorius Charm and Sphinx's Revelation. Resolve and protect AEtherling 1st, which is easier, using Plasm Capture

I will play this deck in its 1st FNM this week in Memphis, and will update the results Saturday.
