Well, since I discovered bant and the awesomeness that is Alara, and since modern has become a part of FNM I thought I'd put together a modern deck.

This is based on an Alara-block deck that I think came.... 3rd in the GPT, so, not too bad, and it has some of my favourite cards in it.

It's pretty budget, except for Noble Hierarch, which I am listing here, even though I have none. I will get them! 20 a piece...

So yeah, we start off (hopefully) with a Noble Hierarch or Akrasan Squire, ramping into Ardent Plea which will ideally find us either an Invisible Stalker or some more exalted. Turn three we can play a Stoic Angel, Rafiq of the Many or with more Hierarchs perhaps even a Finest Hour. All the while there should be some Path to Exile ready to help.

If money was no object I'd not hesitate to get some Sublime Archangel.
