Felixlives, thank you for reminding me about that card, I had them in here at first, but ended up removing them. I think I'll put both in in place of the Fiendslayer Paladin and Spear of Heliod . That way I have the Blind Obedience for red decks, and Sphere of Safety for the mid-range beaters. Thoughts?
Fantastic_Mr_King, ascended law mage is too high of mana cost for a hexproof creature here, with the Aqueous Form it rids the purpose of having fliers in the deck. I have thought about Ajani, Caller of the Pride though.

I would take out 3 of the shocklands and put in 2 plains and an island or two. Scry lands are a must. Bow of Nylea is great against RDW and has proven even more valuable with Ajani in my Naya Hexproof deck. Bow of Nylea works well with Sylvan Caryatid for those times when you are falling behind in beefy creatures. Just give Sylvan counters and you have a defender with some balls. The gods are cool bht i dont think they help that much. Vigilince is nice but not worthy of the mainboard. Trample is good but Thats what Unflinching Courage is there for. Fiendslayer Paladin is a must since he is pro red and black which means he beats out alot of. mono colored decks and other creature oriented decks. Kudos on doing something different. +1d.

How did it hold out vs board wipes? Or did you have enough indestructibles from the side not to worry about it too much?

The only game I had against esper, I had a fleecemane in opening hand, and later on drew into a Unflinching Courage and Aqueous Form . Of course he used Supreme Verdict , which I knew it was bound to happen with a Sylvan Caryatid and Witchstalker who was enchanted, I also didn't have my indestructibility instants. I waited until I had the seven mana on boar, after he got a full revelation off, to play him and monstrosity him , next turn I gained the life I lost from him pelting me with Blood Baron, had a Bident of Thassa out, and just got the draws I needed fast and stole it. I honestly feel like I just got really lucky in this game, I started out with a perfect hand almost, and just got some really great draws.
Next game I sided in the Ready / Willing , Rootborn Defenses and Spell Rupture . the game went to like round 7 or so before I ended up smashing his face in. with two monstrous Fleecemane Lion . This game was awesome though, he got off Elspeth, Sun's Champion and tried to wipe me with her. I had the 5 mana open to monstrous a fleecemane, but I had the ready READY in hand lol, puns are silly.

That is so punny.
Also, good job! I'm working on my own bant deck, but with more of a focus on heroic with stuff to give hexproof and regen rather that them having it naturally. Heroes of Bant

Could you throw a Budget version of this together pretty please? :D
November 12, 2013 10:19 a.m.
Honestly, if you took out all of the shock lands, of which there are twelve, and threw in guildgates, it would drop $120. There's your budget deck.

Swap out Thassa, there's another 20 or so. Its awesome, even a budget version of this deck stomps face in. I played a pauper version of my green/white auras and took first one FNM xD

What do you remove for the Rootborn Defenses and the Ready / Willing when you need to side them in? I see a heavy sacrafice meta locally, do you think siding in something like Trollhide is a good solution? Also what do you think of Indestructibility as an enchant remedy for board wipes or it to high cost on the curve? Awesome deck, +1.

About all that you can do for sac effects are probably counters since sacing gets past regen and indestructibility.

Not sure the last time you updated this, but i've got some suggestions.
Drop the four Sylvan Caryatid. You really, really don't want them in this deck. Replace them with a full playset of Advent of the Wurm . Then, chuck out the playset of Aqueous Form for the full playset of Rootborn Defenses. Lastly, i'd run a full playset of Selesnya Charm instead of the Simic Charm and Azorius Charm. That would pump your usable creatures from 12 to 20, and while you are losing Aqueous Form, you are gaining a huge ass wurm with trample, a way to dupe it and keep your team alive, as well as some good removal/a 2/2 vig knight token.
Lastly, you could remove Detention Sphere for the aqueous form i suggested you take out. I know losing removal sucks, but really, you want the deck to run super fast. If you are having problems with stuff like Desecration Demon and Stormbreath Dragon, Rapid Hybridization is much cheeper than detention sphere, and doesn't let them come back if your opponent is running enchantment removal. Yea, it leaves em with a 3/3, but thats better than a 4/4 or 6/6 flyer. And it would allow you to use more spells on your turn since you aren't eating three mana.
December 24, 2013 11:09 p.m.
edit, I realize you might be running the Caryatid's because with an aura on, they can block stuff like Reckoner pretty nicely, but you don't really want to be on the defensive on this deck. That's my opinion anyway.

Sweet... I like the hexproof enchanting! Fleecemane Lion with Unflinching Courage is boss! I want to say try Holy Mantle but then Aqueous Form pretty much covers that. +1

Yeah I was just changing things around to see how mana distribution would end out. I decided to go to a 2.5k yesterday with it

So I tested the deck out tonight. I found out with a couple of hands I was short on white mana sometimes, but I found that the draw, and scry power, with help of Sylvan Caryatid got the mana base sorted out every time. I Really don't know what I was thinking when I took the Hallowed Fountain out and replaced it with a plains..I must have did that at work when I was distracted haha
I didn't lose a game tonight, it was awesome. Every time I would get multiple draw triggers and multiple scry triggers, and the deck just got to flow so fast. It sort of works like a tempo deck a lot of the time. I'm very happy with the outcome of this. I don't think I'll be adding any plains, but I will switch that fountain back out.
Thank you all sooo much for the feedback, it's really helped me and the deck. I feel like the more and more I play around with different decks, I learn a lot about the important factors of making a deck flow well.
