My FNM baby. No joke 25% of my won games end with the opponent scooping with 20+ life left. I think I may name this deck Python.

8-15% of all games end in a draw.

Game 1 is about ramp and bounce. But you make a scene about playing islands. They play around counters, but you don't have any.

Game 2 switch your ramp for counterspells. They hopefully play right into it and assume you don't play counterspells because they saw the ramp game 1.

2/29: 3rd Place 4-1

12/16: 1st Place FNM!!! 4-1

12/6: Made some improvements for the early game. want to drop a splicer or dignitary as early as I can and then drop a venser before they realize what's about to happen.

Oh and I am proud to say that I had the strange opportunity last night to Oblivion Ring my own Venser, the Sojourner to protect him! When it was safe I o-ringed my own o-ring and started bouncing! HA

12/5: So much fun to play! All I have to say is wow when this deck works it just abuses ETB effects and creates many options for stalling the game and either hitting Venser, the Sojourner 's ultimate, or creating a stupid amount of Blade Splicer s and their pet golems just to make them unblockable.

Being able to copy with either Phantasmal Image and Phyrexian Metamorph is just stupid. For example one fun combo that is VERY playable: Continually bounce Stonehorn Dignitary until I get the tools necessary to copy him to free up Venser's ultimate or to begin bouncing splicers or slimes FTW. So much fun! Please leave comments and +1!!

3/1/2012: 3rd Place (4-1)

After a little hiatus from MTG, I returned with my boy Venser, the Sojournerfoil. And well, my old Bant deck apparently still has it what it takes! I have updated it very little. The only addition is the interesting Young Wolf. I thought I would give him a shot to see how undying interacts with Venser. Turns out the little guy didn't ever show up, and often got side boarded for Negate or whatnot. Other than that, I tweaked it here and there. The +1 DOJ was a good call. Either way, this deck did unbelievably well with such minor changes. Read on to see how the matches went.

Game 1: 2-0 vs zombies.

Game 2: 2-0 vs Mono green undying and dungrove

Game 3: 0-2 BU Zombies

Game 4: 2-1 vs RG Wolf Run Ramp-- This I have to remark on. SOOOO Sick of WRR. So as it turns out, Venser is sick against this deck. Game 1 will be a loss. But when you side in your Flash Freeze and negates you win game 2. They will have few responses to the Stonehorn combo with Venser, or repeated acidic slime. Ultimate Venser and DONE. Bye bye mountain(s), kessig, inkmoth, etc. Proceed to beat face with Consecrated Sphinx or Wurmcoil Engine.

Game 5: 2-1 vs Bant Pod Undying Homebrew
