A toolbox Commander deck is something I have wanted to build for a long, long time. Birthing Pod is probably one of my favorite cards that I have played with and I have been playing with that card basically since it came out, the decks were not good, but they were fun.

So there are a few things that the toolbox had to have, removal Path to Exile, recursion Eternal Witness, counterspells Mystic Snake , ways to protect my creatures Loxodon Hierarch, cloning effects Phyrexian Metamorph and ways to end the game Avenger of Zendikar.

This really pushed me in to my colours of Green, White and Blue, Which is how I choose my commander Roon of the Hidden Realm, and he also happens to be pretty good with the things I want to do, allowing me to recur many of my effects.

I figured that since I was going to have some pretty good selection cards in the deck and not that many big creatures that I should probably run at least one combo that can win games on the spot. I settled on Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit with Kitchen Finks and a sac outlet in Blasting Station and Demonmail Hauberk , what is useful is that Glen Elendra Archmage also happens to work within with combo as a backup.

And I am thinking of including Melira, Sylvok Outcast as backup for Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit but since she doesn't do anything by herself I don't think it is something I want to do.

Just realised today, that there is a second damage combo in my deck. Didn't mean to put it in there, but I'm not sad it is there.

Karmic Guide and Reveillark with Blasting Station can deal infinite damage. Provided the triggers are stacked just right. unless I am mistaken.

Karmic Guide or Reveillark are in the graveyard and Blasting Station is in play. Cast the other, we'll say Karmic Guide in response to her ETB sacrifice her with Blasting Station while her ETB brings back Reveillark, untapping Blasting Station. Sacrifice Reveillark returning Karmic Guide and maybe another creature. Untap Blasting Station and before Karmic Guide's Ability resolves once again sacrifice her.

Azorius Signet for Cultivate
Selesnya Signet for Kodama's Reach
Simic Signet for Farseek
These are minor changes, just changing ramp for different ramp. I kinda like signets since they don't care about what colours you already have, but Cultivate and Kodama's Reach are just super efficient at what they do. And Farseek because it allows me to get what ever shock land I want, which is an extremely useful function.

Steelshaper Gift for Brago, King Eternal
The main reason reason for this change is that Steelshaper Gift, at the moment only has one target, and that just isn't a fantastic place to be. While Brago, King Eternal doesn't fill a similar role in the deck but he does allow my to reuse many of the really powerful effects in the deck.

Gaea's Revenge for Terastodon
After showing the list to a friend of mine he suggested this change. And I link it. Honestly I had forgotten about Terastodon altogether, and with the amount of power and flexibility that comes with him or her (?) there is no reason for it not to be in the deck. Gaea's Revenge is a decent threat, but isn't on the same level as Terastodon by any means.

Shardless Agent for Forest
Shardless Agent is never going to over preform in this deck and the deck was light on land. So, seems like a reasonable swap.
