Would you play a different board wipe or no board wipes? The tokens are good with Opposition Collective Blessing and Skullclamp

I like Martial Coup and Hour of Reckoning over Supreme Verdict and Day of Judgment but you may like them for the reasonable mana cost. You could use True Conviction , Craterhoof Behemoth /Overwhelming Stampede with all of your tokens plus your Collective Blessing /card:Mirari's Wake pumping your crts to help end the game. Doubling Season and Parallel Lives if u have room. Wonder and Eldrazi Monument would give u blocking and evasion options.

Thanks for the comment I'll definitely think about doubling season, true conviction, the behemoth, stampede, martial coup and hour. Peace!

I like this deck a lot! You have 14 token makers and 3 Planeswalkers. I would suggest Doubling Season be slipped in here some where. If Doubling Season were in play you could ultimate 2 of the 3 Planeswalkers you have on the turn they come out. Also if you added Elspeth, Knight-Errant along side Doubling Season all your stuff becomes indestructible! There is only one card in your deck that this would be a detriment to and thats the Glen Elandra Archmage. For that reason you could go with Parallel Lives since it doesnt go with the counter part.

For help finding your more important cards you could add Abundance.

There are between 10-17 lands that come into play tapped. I say between because I am counting the 3 shock lands, the 3 check lands and Razorverge Ticket. I would suggest swapping these out as you have the chance. There are obviously the original dual lands (Tundra, Savannah and Tropical Island) and Reflecting Pool as great options. As far as tapped lands go I would obviously keep the 7 I mentioned, the 2 man lands and Seaside Citadel for sure. I would suggest adding one tap land - Krosan Verge since it is also a fetch land. If you bump up your basic land count to at least 9, I would suggest Land Tax as well.

Overall I say this is a really cool deck and it looks fun!

I like what you have going on here. it seems like a ton of fun control, however i have to agree with superman Doubling Season and Parallel Lives seem like perfect fits unless your producing more then enough tokens already then don't worry about it. also as a side note Cathars' Crusade with Doubling Season and token production can get retarded real quick. if that goes off then you will not need to tap creatures just swing for the fences. that's all i got, really well built deck +1

Thanks Fathinar for the compliment. I've been struggling with whether I want doubling season, I know it's a really good idea, it's just that I'm resistant to one card needing another or being dead alone, but I am seriously considering it.

With roughly 17 cards that would benefit from Doubling Season being out, I dont think you will ever have a situation where you would think it is a dead draw. In fact, once you see some sweet plays happen with Doubling Season out, you might just tutor Doubling season up! Fathinar is right, Cathars' Crusade would be comical with Doubling season!

yea with what you have going on here with your token generation doubling season will never feel like a dead card. it just can't there are too many token producers. I do see where you are coming from because for doubling season to go off it does require other cards. However, when you see what it does to your production you will be pleasantly surprised. BTW just from experience there will be some times that doubling season works so hard that it makes your head hurt doing the math. good luck!!

I count 13 token creators, but yes I will put doubling season in, what do you think I would take out? My main candidates are Harmonic Sliver Glen Elendra Archmage and Wargate .

April 23, 2013 6:23 p.m.

Your token makers are as follows:
01 Conqueror's Pledge
02 Entreat the Angels
03 Increasing Devotion
04 Supply
05 Captain of the Watch
06 Geist-Honored Monk
07 Hero of Bladehold
08 Rampaging Baloths
09 Wurmcoil Engine
10 White Sun's Zenith
11 Elspeth Tirel
12 Garruk, Primal Hunter
13 Awakening Zone
14 Rite of Replication

When your planeswalkers come into play you put loyalty counters on them. So if Doubling Season is out, just casting a planeswalker will give you double the normal loyalty counters. So in addition to two of them making tokens, they will benefit from Doubling season too. In this case I count Elspeth and Garruk twice since different abilities of the card are benefiting from Doubling Season. - Thus 17 (or 15 if you are just counting by card name)
15 Elspeth Tirel
16 Garruk, Primal Hunter
17 Jace, the Mind Sculptor

I would suggest Harmonic Sliver (since its not a may ability and sometimes you might need a blocker but be forced to blow up one of your permanents) or the Archmage since it doesnt have good synergy with Doubling Season. If you do put Doubling season in, I would strongly suggest putting Elspeth, Knight-Errant since I hear indestructible stuff is pretty good. :)

Thanks for giving us a feeling of the glorious days when Opposition ruled the metagame - I just loved that deck back then; +1 from me.

Things I'd consider adding would be Deranged Hermit and Seedborn Muse . Those and maybe the Earthcraft /Squirrel Nest combo, although the latter might be a little too Spike-ish...

With the recent addition of Parallel Lives I think I'm going to have to play Deranged Hermit and I think I'll also going to try out Seedborn Muse . I've been waiting for suggestions like these, thanks!

Yeah that's a good idea but it hasn't been in here so far because I usually have enchantments and creatures on board. I'll think about it.

September 6, 2013 1:46 p.m.

do you have any way to make your stuff indestructible?
