I like the mainboard. Maybe swap out two Detention Sphere for 2x Banishing Light . I might drop one Mutavault for a Temple of Plenty , that or I would take out an island and a plains for 2x Mana Confluence .

I'm not sure I agree with all of your sideboard choices, but would be curious to know more details on those selections. If you run it at your LGS, please post how it does in the various matchups.

I feel like there needs to be some spot removal somewhere, either main or in the sideboard. I'd like to see 2x Last Breath main and 2x Celestial Flare in the side. To that end, I would sideboard AEtherling and... ugh... either 1x Kiora, the Crashing Wave or 1x Sylvan Caryatid . To get AEtherling and 2x Celestial Flare into the sideboard I would cut the 3x Selesnya Charm (you really only have them for the exile effect) and there are better options. Deicide can be cut to 2x along with both Syncopate , then you can add 2x Brimaz, King of Oreskos and a 2nd Archangel of Thune , which allows you to bring in nice threats when the spot removal comes out. There are other options as well (e.g. Mistcutter Hydra ), but I think that's a good start.

Thank you for your feedback.

I initially tried out the deck with both Celestial Flare and Last Breath in the mainboard, then celestial flare in the sideboard, and every time I found those cards to either be dead draws at the time they were drawn, or that they underperformed immensily compared to, say, just defending myself or taking a tiny bit of damage until a Supreme Verdict hit the board. The Selesnya Charm s are also very nifty, as they are NOT only the exile a creature with power 5 or greater, but can also just be a 2/2 creature to block, say, a Mutavault , which I would prefer to exiling it and them gaining 4 health.

I like having the AEtherling inside the mainboard as I have won almost every single game where I got him out without trouble and only once had a troublesome fight on my hand afterwards.

I've never really been a fan of Brimaz, King of Oreskos in my control decks. I know that he is good, but I would prefer just playing something else instead.

The triple Deicide is mainly because they do not necessary have to target gods, and with a block where so many creatures are enchantment creatures, it can easily become a 2 mana: exile target creature spot removal card. Its added bonus of removing all copies of a god from my opponent is just something extra, but you are right, I usually only board in 2 of them, and then the third if I feel it is necessary.

Banishing Light I have actually heavily contemplated putting into the deck, not as a replacement for 2 of the Detention spheres, but as "detention sphere" 5 through ?? (how ever many I decide upon). I have also thought about the Mana Confluence , especially since I am playing a 3 colour deck, but as many pros have been commented "You just never want to sit with 2 Mana confluences in your hand, you are going to die." and hence I would only be inclined to include it as a 1 of, perhaps as a substitute for 1 mutavault. I also feel that I have plenty of temples that a temple of plenty would barely matter. (pun unintended)

Once again, thank you very much for your feedback.
