This is my take on a mono - blue deck based around Baral, Chief of Compliance. My goal is to use cards like Ponder, Temple Bell, and Sensei's Divining Top to keep a steady stream of counterspells going while I assemble my win conditions. Basically, I run two combos: the first is Enter the Infinite + Laboratory Maniac + any draw engine, and the second is Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake for infinite mana. (I went with Peregrine Drake as opposed to Palinchron for budget concerns.) My logic behind running Baral as opposed to someone like Talrand, Sky Summoner is that Baral can draw you cards when you counter something, thereby somewhat alleviating the card disadvantage I woud otherwise suffer. I do want to mention that this is a budget deck, and so any suggestions made should be shared with that in mind, but other than that I am open to pretty much anything. Thanks!
