This deck was purposefully built to only use commons and uncommons, and avoid the most unfair cards among them that were usually associated with Affinity decks during Mirrodin block's Standard days. It's still very good, and very explosive.
I mostly play multiplayer, so the Green component of the deck (Gaea's Blessing) is to give me a way to recycle creatures and Shrapnel Blasts for the long game. With the massive amounts of card-draw effects in the deck, the recycled cards aren't very difficult to find again.
