Why not 300 cards?

So much to explore, and people think they're limited to playing a standard 60. Yes, it's more consistent, but casting every single powerful spell that you can does have a lot of appeal to it.

And the card you're looking for is Sarkhan's Triumph, which is actually in the deck already. :)

I dislike Narset in the deck because her +1 ability isn't very reliable in here. Almost 2/3rds of the deck will cause Narset to miss, making her have a mere 33% chance at giving you advantage. Though her -2 is great, that alone will not make in a worthwhile inclusion.

Appreciate it! Looking forward to playing it at an actual FNM when I can afford all this junk, haha

Ha, this is so freaking fun. I love it so much as a casual or even FNM deck. +1

The best part is that it feels like you're playing a different game each time. It's almost Standard EDH!

Cavern of Souls would be bonkers in here for the dragons.

It's not Standard though, unfortunately..

Glorious. Wish it wasn't cost-prohibitive or a pain to shuffle.

April 17, 2015 4:56 p.m.

Armenius says... #18

Yeah, that's a big drawback. However, there's certainly a budget version to be made. Also, if you play it online, the shuffling isn't a problem, and if you play specifically on Cockatrice/a similar program, there's no cost.

The only problem with this deck is the rule that says you have to be able to shuffle it w/out assistance. Otherwise, it's absolutely beautiful.

April 27, 2015 11:54 p.m.

Armenius says... #22

That rule never states HOW you must shuffle it, however. It is totally legal to shuffle the entire thing one piece at a time. Like an EDH deck. Or 3.

And thanks!

April 28, 2015 7:40 a.m.

hey Armenius,is it legal to have more than 60 cards in a deck at a Friday night mtg? I thought that 60 was the limit for standard.+1 aswell :) dragons are awesome :D

Armenius says... #24

The rules state that the MINIMUM is 60, but your maximum is indefinite as long as you can shuffle without assistance. The deck is completely FNM legal

This seems like an absolute blast to play, +1 to you!

How about Dragonlord's Prerogative over Jace's Ingenuity. I personally like it better with only one mana for that extra card but with all the dragon's you have it's probably always going to be uncounterable which is just great.
