Now please keep telling me why this deck is the best while I play this totally legal non-op deck The Treasure Lies At The Darkest Depths

to my mind very boring deck, you sit and hope for the card you want... it is a way of saying "Let's play NO magic"...

diateone, The_Pizza_Guy98 Are you kidding? This deck can't lose a game!!!! You guys obviously have no idea what you are talking about!

This deck is a great example of a fundamental understanding that eludes inexperienced players. 5 guys in my play group. 3 of us go X-0 with this, the other 2 go 0-X.

You can not look at the individual pieces in a vacuum. Yes there are more efficient creatures than a 1/2 flyer for 2 mana. Sure, the primary win con can feel like a clunky expensive enchantment to a newer player. But together....and then you add the islands!

Watching a players face explode when all of the moving parts to this deck finally click in their head is as rare as it is priceless.

Hint: You don't add 223 islands because that is too many. You don't add 221 islands because that is not enough.

I won on turn 5, there was no way it could of won. It costs 5 mana to cast and he mulliganed and got it, now tell me how is it not possible for this to lose, and how it takes such an experienced player to play 1 mana each turn until you have enough to play Battle of Wits while also (lookout multitasking takes such skill) using a 1/2 flying for blocking. The only reason this is number one is because people think it's funny and overlook that there are better decks out there.

The community trollface is once again very, very real.

I'd go ahead and upvote this beauty, but alas, I already have. :(

the problem here is that you all talk about ideal game situations... The point is that playing this deck is not funny at all. And it can be perfectly beated by a discarding-deck, just wait until turn 4 and make you discard the card i want, no big deal...

In this hypothetical situation, I have a Storm Crow and a Battle of Wits in hand, or two of either. You Thoughtseize me. What do you take? Either way, I lay down an OP win con the following turn and you're 2 life down. Discard decks have got nothing on this.

December 14, 2014 4:49 p.m.

Unstoppable. This deck will break legacy, vintage, and modern.

This is just too powerfull. Even the best card I own -Scornful Egotist- can't do anything against it. Man, you shouldn't have posted it on T/O, the modern meta is going to become bullshit from now... I hope Storm Crow will be ban.

Lol, just kidding, Wizard can't ban Storm Crow. Storm Crow bans wizard. Alt text

Don't believe me TitansFTW verse me in LackeyCCG, I have two decks that beat it multiple times by turn 4.

December 14, 2014 11:23 p.m.

Just today I used this against my friends haste deck he recently made/bought knowing this deck would lose, your deck died on turn 4. Storm crow is not a win con, it's a 1/2 flying, you won't kill me with a 1/2 flying by turn 4.

December 14, 2014 11:27 p.m.

This is bad, stop trying.

December 14, 2014 11:35 p.m.

Well now that I think about it I was using islands with different artwork for that game (you know the really ghetto looking alpha ones), so that might of affected my chances of winning.

December 14, 2014 11:51 p.m.

I like your separate accounts btw..

The_Pizza_Guy98, how'd you figure out that I have multiple accounts? You've foiled my plot! I'll confess now before it gets worse; all 1093 upvotes so far have been my alternate accounts. I am actually the owner of 90% of all the accounts of TappedOut. I frequently have conversations with myself, and have actually traded with myself multiple times (side note: I would recommend trading with me, I'm very reliable. Not once have I failed to get cards from myself). One thing I want to know is what gave it away? I've tried so hard to cover it up that I thought it was undetectable...

But I was wondering: what are you gonna do against Murder of Crows? And how do Storm Crow interact with this card? :o

Lol. Idle threats unless your grandma actually shows up. She won't. And I don't know what an "aq garbagge cerd fuggen losurs" is, but I'm pretty sure I want 2 for my birthday. :)
