I'm sorry, I don't have the power to control Storm Crow . It does what it wants.

i know this might sound crazy, but lets eliminate the competition even more. why not switch out Storm Crow for Manta Riders , that way the opponent won't see it coming when you make it a flyer ;D

So I decided to playtest this deck and the first time I play test and my first hand I pull 2 battle of wits. Must be a lucky guy :D

If you want to continue playing this deck at FNM, you might want to try Scornful Egotist or Sea Eagle , but nothing comes close to Storm Crow .

Maybe you should add a few more Islands, for those few times you meet a mill deck, but I don't think you need to worry about that.

Playtested 11 times. Battle in my opening hand twice. Twice i muliganed to it. The rest i muliganed to 1 and never got it. Only had storm crow once. Thats pretty decent odds. There are ways to slightly increase that chance. Tutor to it also i was thinking you should have 4 of each cycle land. My friend recently built a battle of wits deck that only has 2 battle of wits but numerous other potential win cons cycle astral slide etc etc. i guess the main win con for a deck like that is the opponent rage quits. +1 man its gold.

i have always liked Battle of Wits but couldnt figure out how to make a deck work. im fairly new so im familiar with the new stuff and not the older stuff, and ur deck score is 58, maybe u could help me with my Battle of Wits deck? its called i will destroy ur face in a battle of wits.
