This deck is just that consistent. I spent a long time working on the numbers of various different cards in order to maximize consistency without sacrificing efficiency, and this is the decklist after hours of blood sweat and tears.

I think this deck needs 4x Door to Nothingness and 4x Chromatic Lantern . No deck is complete without Door to Nothingness . And whats better than four Storm Crow ? Four Storm Crow with vigilance, trample and haste! Akroma's Memorial ftw.

Wow. I pulled a Battle of Wits just as I needed it. It must be the power of Storm Crow .

I would go ahead and add 100 more Island just to be sure you can cast Storm Crow on curve. Can't be too careful.

This deck's power level is degenerate. Playtested it vs my power-nine deck and lost every game. +1

The power nine are pathetic in comparison to the mighty power of Storm Crow and Battle of Wits .

Perhaps you could play Treasure Hunt . For card advantage.

The problem with that is that it comes with an inherent risk of going below 200 cards left in my library, which isn't ideal.

but if Treasure Hunt puts you below 200 cards you would have gone that low before you hit the BoW either way

True. You make a very good point. However, this deck is already OP as is, so I don't want it to become degenerate by adding even more consistency. My friends won't want to play with me.

I have never come across a deck like this in my 14 years of magic. Thank the god's the lord crow has not graced me with his presence. I rather like not loosing when i play. My little eight and a half tails just would not measure up to his benevolence.

I was about to recomend taking Storm Crow off for Invisible Stalker but then I realized the importance of the Crow in this deck

you definitely have that reputation. You're one of the few names I recognize on this site

I tried to playtest the deck but it is so broken that the playtester is mind blown at its efficiency and awesomeness.

If I could upvote more than once, I would upvote this deck everytime it's deckcycled.

You are guaranteed to loose by turn 23 actually. You have to have 200 or more cards in your library and by turn 23 you will have drawn out 23 more cards + the 7 start cards. It would actually be more beneficial to mulligan as many times as you can if you don't get Battle of Wits in your starting hand. Then at least you start out with only 1 in hand and you will get 29 turns before you can no longer win. You should add some Elixir of Immortality
's to the deck or something. Maybe something like Diabolic Tutor
and splash some black mana in there or something. You can't win before turn 6 and you can't win after 23. That's a 17 turn window that you hope you draw 1/56 on each turn. That's more like a 12% win ratio.

uhh, you're missing that Storm Crow
is in here. I believe Battle of Wits
is just the backup win-con, added to humor opponents. The crow will win the game every time.

deck is 100% awesome. Storm Crow may be a bit too powerful, but it's decks like this that he shines brightest.

I think you should add 1x Swamp . Your opponents will never expect you to pull it out and the shock factor may just win you the game.

Petty Swamp s are petty in the eyes of the great Storm Crow

Just a suggestion that could change this deck up a bit if you get bored with the way it is. Try adding Ad Nauseam , Maralen of the Mornsong , and maybe an Elixir of Immortality . But as is, great deck, +1 from me.

if you can foil storm crows, but that may break the bank...

The funny part is i was like "huh, lets playtest this" and actually had a storm crow and battle of wits in hand and ended up winning with this so uh +1 for that 11.7%
