Shhh.... BlazzedTroll, this is one of the few decks on TappedOut I'm all but certain to beat! ;) Great suggestions though. If the Battle of Wits is ever to win, it needs cards like the ones you suggest.

Playtested this deck just for fun and got Battle of Wits in my opening hand first time xD

BLEATH I've worked very hard to get the consistency of this deck up to competitive levels, and I'm glad it's paying off. That is exactly how the deck should run.

Achievement:
You thought I was kidding?: Beat a Tier-1 Modern deck.
January 14, 2014 9:22 p.m.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Saw this coming: Have someone scoop when Storm Crow enters the battlefield.
Archipelago: Control 20 Island s.
So close: Lose the turn after casting Battle of Wits , or lose the turn after getting an opponent to 1 life with Storm Crow s.
January 14, 2014 10:40 p.m.
Achievement:
I didn't plan for this!: Cast Battle of Wits with 199 cards left in your library.
January 15, 2014 12:23 a.m.
One thing to note! Battle of Wits could be deemed not tournament legal, due to the impossibility to shuffle both quickly and fully. You can do a fast shuffle, but that doesn't make it properly randomized (like if you only shuffle the small bits you tutored and stick them back on top). If you take forever shuffling, you've stalled game state. That much said, hilarious casual deck, and awesome achievements guys :P

the soundtrack and the "video" go along together really well xD

Actually, it could be tournament legal or not just depending on your ability to shuffle large decks. I'm used to handling larger decks, so for me it would probably be legal, as 1) I can shuffle my deck without assistance and 2) I would not be delaying play. On the other hand, if you're clumsy or if you just can't handle big decks that well, it would be different. One way you could shuffle a deck as big as this is to divide it into two, shuffle those thoroughly, then shuffle them back into one.

You probably could put some of the edazi in the deck. Some have, if this gets sent to your graveyard, shuffle your graveyard back into your library.

I tried playtesting it - although it got Storm Crow out on turn 2, because your primary win-con is Battle of Wits , you should focus more on that. With that being said, I didn't draw one for a very long time - not until after the 200 mark and as a result I would add in more lands. Like, having a deck total of approximately 1000 would make it more consistent.

akatsukidawn446 Unfortunately I'm on a bit of a budget, so I can't afford 992 Island . It's just too expensive.

I playtested it, and Storm Crow hit the field as soon as turn 27! When Battle of Wits entered turn 33, I was completely blown away. Needless to say, I'm impressed. +1

bman5604 No, this is a very competitive deck. It was built for speed and consistency first and foremost.
February 9, 2014 5:23 p.m.
Speed? Consistency? The likely hood of this having a winning record is slim to never! Especially with the un banning of Wild Nacatl and Bitterblossom potentially warping the format. I don't think this deck will be competitive. And if your lgs banned you from playing this..... Then they need to step up there game. He'll I'll buy the cards and test it online to prove my point

Dude, I'm on a budget. This deck is already over $35. I don't want to push it.
