It's a pretty crazy deck, downside is it has a lot of unfavorable matchups. It loses to control, aggro, pretty much any infinite combo, pod, pretty much everything actually ><

I think Divination and Sign in Blood would help you replenish your hand. Jace's Ingenuity and Monastery Siege too.

Treasure Hunt is also a fantastic card for this as well, since you have so much land.

misterjanky they are okay. They are significantly less good in a deck like this in that even if I add all of them I have like a 4% chance of drawing them at a given time. Treasure Hunt is just generally good. If I really wanted to get some faster draws I might consider Howling Mine or Otherworld Atlas

I just had a problem getting enough apostles in playtesting. I was getting T7s, which is assuming no one blew up even one of them. Taigam's Scheming probably wouldn't hurt, as you can pitch unwanted lands into your GY.

Every card that's not land, apostles, demons, and battle of wits hurts... my soul ;p

I can appreciate that. I just want to make sure you get lots of apostles. Playing three in a turn is a great feeling, and I just want that to happen more often.

what if you cut the amount of each card in half, it saves on money and is easier to shuffle.

Maybe you should read Battle of Wits. Cutting 20 land cards might not hurt, though.

Yeah cutting the cards in half ruins the only reaaaaal wincon

You should add 4 of each modern legal card, so you can get answer to any situation by tutoring that answer, then add Snow-Covered Islands, Snow-Covered Swamps and Shadowborn Apostle's so much, that you can consistently draw them and have other cards in deck waiting for tutoring when needed.

Every single modern legal card? I suppose it's a coolish idea, but I don't see any actual use in having that many answers.

After a lot of play testing I found it was a consistent number. Sorry if it bothers you haha.

Other than the fact that it gets hosed by Nevermore, and is easy to shut down in the 5-6 turns it usually takes to go off this is a really good deck. So because I'm not one of those "dies to removal" wankers I'll give this a +1.

Thanks I guess(?). But this has so many counters it's unbelievable. Gets rekt by any form of aggro, burn, removal, and control. It's only strong matchup is maybe against another troll deck.

+1 for getting Battle of Wits into a deck! Love it.

if only conspiracies could be played in modern, then you'd never run out of apostles.

Foxhound438, I am not super familiar with conspiracies anyway seeing as I hardly get time to go out and buy new cards or spend time viewing them all online so idk what cards you are referring to.

You have no idea how badly I just want to show up at my FNM with this giant stack of cards and just put it on the table and be like "Hey how ya-""I concede""Why?""Because you know what you're doing in life way more than me.""So you concede life?""Almost"
