I really wanted to do something with Battlefield Thaumaturge and this is what I have come up with. Any feedback would be appreciated.

This is a aggro deck that is all but free. I will tap their stuff and mine with Gridlock and Glimpse the Sun God and activate all the Heroic triggers on their turn and then have some fun on mine. Launch the Fleet also works by giving each creature a little buddy. Dauntless Onslaught gives some counters on top of the Heroic counters.

Fabled Hero and Phalanx Leader are the workers for this deck. They will work great together, +1/+1 and Double Strike with another +1/+1 is just awesome. Favored Hoplite has a nice Heroic trigger that makes him a good one drop along with Soldier of the Pantheon.

Triton Tactics to untap for blockers and activate more Heroic triggers. Gods Willing to chump block and survive or get around kill spells.

SIDEBOARD:

Azorius Charm if I need some life gain. Mizzium Skin if I need some hexproof. Glaring Spotlight if they have some hexproof. Deicide if they bring out some of the bigger and problematic Gods.

So I took this deck to my local shop and had it looked at by some people and play tested it. I set out to build a control deck and I had built an aggro deck instead. Funny since every time I have set out to make an aggro deck I make midrange.

I took out 3 Detention Sphere, 3 Banishing Light and 2 Cyclonic Rift for a playset of Fabled Hero and Triton Tactics. Battlewise Hoplite was taken out for Gods Willing.

It's going to take some getting used to since I mostly play midrange but I hope to make a good showing at Game Day. I would love to take home that sweet playmat but Top 8 would be nice. Any advice or recommendations would be welcome.
