The Commander

---

Edric, Spymaster of Trest : This is a Group Hug deck and a Bear Tribal Deck. While there is a Bear Commander, I wanted to incorporate a strong group hug commander that would give me access to both Green and Blue. So Edric, Spymaster of Trest is the way to go! He encourages players to point there resources towards other people and provides ample card draw for both you and your opponents.

Bear

Bear: Simply put, most of the creatures in this deck are bears! It's a bear tribal deck and I LOVE IT. There are only 23 bears out there take the one white bear out and we are left with 22, and that's exactly what we're left with. Personally I love Bear Cub because he's just so dang cute but in the end I love them all <3!

Sudo-Bear: There are a couple Sudo-Bears which are all the bears that either are changelings or have similar effects. They bring some good tribal synergy and anthem effects and helps bring together the fact all we are working with are some big burly bears that don't do to much (and do have the brains to figure it out) and need a little help and guidance :)

Garruk: Just look up Bear on Urban Dictionary, don't kink shame me.

Bear-Producer

Token Producers: This section focuses on the production of bear tokens. I'd say the one that has the most use would be Words of Wilding, considering how much card draw and mana production this deck can do. You can make a lot of bears from Words of Wilding

Mana

Land: The manabase in this deck isn't crazy expensive, it's not much, but it works!

Other: The classic Sol Ring and Zendikar Resurgent because both these cards can find a perfect home in any commander deck

Swolle-Bears

Anthem: These bears aren't to terrifying by themselves so there's a medium sized anthem-like affects package in here featuring Craterhoof Behemoth and Obelisk of Urd. More than likely you'll draw into these throughout the game and these are the few win cons present in the deck. Although most the time, you're going for second place by convincing the person going off to kill you last.

Targeted Swolleness: Alpha Status is synergizes perfectly with a bear tribal deck.

Bear-Hug

HUGS!: Who doesn't love hugs?!? These cards involve everyone ramping and drawing cards and this is where you get all your political favors. If ever someone is thinking of doing something to you, kindly remind them that you've helped them quite a bit and attacking someone else can prove to be more fruitful. My personal favorites from this area are Heartwood Storyteller he is just such a happy card, I mean just look at him <3.

Bear-Synergy

Card Draw: Drawing cards due to tribal synergy, who can complain. Zendikar Resurgent and Kindred Discovery are real spicy cards and Herald's Horn is sudo-draw.
