My green devotion nonsense. A fun deck that does great in competitive matches. a hard deck to stop in the early game, and a pain in the rump to take care of later on.
The Manas:
.A fun Burning-Tree Emissary + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
combo. (
Primalcrux
turn 3? I love it!) get your extra mana and 2 devotion to tap that beautiful hunk a' mana and get yourself 2 devotion (plus whatever you had on the field before.)
.The Elven Triad are here to support you on your journey to victory! with your pals
Arbor Elf
,
Elvish Mystic
and
Llanowar Elves
, you become a force of true destruction!
."Whos that trip-trapping over my bridge?" roared the troll. Well, whatever you want! Any big guy could be hiding under there for a little surprise visit with
Mosswort Bridge
!
The Phat Men:
.Before your opponents very eyes, the heads will grow and grow without any sign of stopping.
Primordial Hydra
stomps in for some run-over damage and the ever-flowing counters.
.With skin tough as steel,
Leatherback Baloth
counts for some extreme early devotion and some heavy hitters early in the game to put some pressure on your opponents.
.
Predator Ooze
is here for some devotion and chumping! almost aggro proofs the deck against pesky goblins. He cant die, so use this as many times as you can towards your advantage. And never mind the fact that once he claims his first victim, there's no stopping him.
. As the Phat Mans second in comand,
Khalni Hydra
is a major component in this deck. With a lower mana cost for each green dude you have, he can enter for zero and an INSANE amount of devotion for your huge dudes.
.There's no actual reason this guy is in here. It just adds to your opponents pain and suffering.
Worldspine Wurm
becomes so fun to throw out turn 4 or 5. Your opponents never see him coming, even if he's under the bridge.
.And now, the moment you've been waiting for; He's big, He's bad, and now he's even BIGGER. The Phat man himself,
Primalcrux
! with the endless possibilities of him raining pain and destruction on your enemies board, he is a sure add in. He is the go-to guy for almost any wincon. When he comes onto the field, your opponent can forget a fighting chance (unless they counter it, but that's what
Savage Summoning
is for, amiright?)
